389 BZ pictures
Here's my Palombi 389 Aluminum Bronze. I got this baby a couple of days ago. I just wanted to share some pictures.

Thank you George. The feel of the putter is exceptional. Not as soft as carbon steel yet not as clicky as stainless steel. Just perfect.

Enjoy the pictures.

    Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah

    that's better..........

Not bad. I guess that slit is what creates the MOI rebound, eh? Wasn't there another putter that had the same concept of the slit? I sort of seem to remember........... may be it was the Palombi!

    Thanks

Oh - BTW - nice green CARPET

Here are some other photos :-) And yes, the floating face will change the tone/sound of the putter. Much like the original Anser.

You've done some great work with copper in the past. What does copper plating do to the sound?

nice putter mate, softness between stainless and carbon steel sounds very appealing

i especially like the mill marks on the bumpers, the attention to detail is impressive, the Palombi script stamp is another feature that i like

That's called a sound slot, or 'beached', it's very common and can be seen in a lot of putters

it's supposed to give the putter a more distinct sound at impact, i don't think there's any sort of MOI rebound involved...

Just a quick update and feedback. The putter was on the real course today for the first time. All I can say is wow!. It's really hard to describe the feel of the putter. It's really a fantastic combination of the softness of carbon steel and the solidness of stainless steel. I don't think I can go back to those soft carbon steel putters anymore. The 'ting' sound that you usually get from the beached putters was also somewhat distinctive. I would say the sound is more resonant and vivid. Oh yeah...The distance control was also perfect too. Thanks.

Copper on a Carbon putter might mute sound a bit. Not a lot.

The pictured putter above is milled from solid billet Aluminum Bronze. Thanks.
