i think they are pretty cool looking. I know I am 40, but i don't care. I want a pair to wear when the course is wet in the winter.. as I will play in almost any weather

....i usually play with 3 balls in my back pocket as i like to rotate them every few holes.........or in case i hit one OB or in a water hazard....

Chilidog I think these would look better with the new Nike FI Impact 2 and an "untucked" shirt.

 

 

The only catch is the "untucked" shirt, not sure that dress code custom is ever going to disapear. haha

 

Maybe you could get around it by wearing a cashmere crewneck sweater... This is the sort of stuff Nike should have Rory dressed in instead of white pants and gradient screen print shirts..

Okay, giving the OP the benefit of the doubt, you would need a top level pro to represent the movement. Who in the top 25 would not only wear them but look good doing it? Gotta be young, fit, not too lanky and not too conservative. Who ya got?

Yep. I saw those too. I'm a little too hefty to pull off the skinny jeans look, but I love the cuffed look. Guess I am going to have to make my own.

joggers are definitely "in". Doesn't mean you have to have them or even like them - but I can't believe how many negative responses attacking the OP there were.

 

I don't personally have any pairs of them, although I do have Uniqlo jogging pants with elastic bottoms which are pure money.

 

 

Hah, I thought about this thread as well when I saw Fowler rocking them. Above was my response from back in the summer when the thread originated. It surprised me how many people shot down the thought of this trend picking up in golf. If Fowler is doing it, there will be a following in the golf community.

Once you get into your 40s, wearing trending 20-30 YO clothes make you look like a poser.

 

I'd wear them once they get mainstream though.

 

I've worn my UA Infrared warm ups to the course on cold days and no one could even tell or they just assumed they were wind/rain gear.

 

Look good and more comfy? I'm in.

 

I have done this a ton of times, I have the nike equivalents too which I wear on colder days at the club.

metro ... and not most can pull off the look ... forget the elastic waistline, make it loops and belt, make it a slim fit pant that tightens around the ankles, and the 20-30 something crowd ... go for it.
