My clubs are...and my car is a...

Tacomas are in high demand. There going to a 3rd shift in the manufacturing plant. I work at a dealership and we can't keep them on the lot

Clubs are in sig, Golfsmith Pro Grind Blades (s55's on way), SM5's I25 Driver, Bio Cell + 3/4w, Tm Tp Rescue '11.

Vehicle is a '12 Tacoma Crew Cab Off Road Package 4x4. Buying a truck is probably the best move I have ever made. Wanted a big luxury sedan but with all the fishing, golfing, football, softball, tennis etc I do and play the truck was the correct decision. Also just purchasing a house last year the truck comes in handy with hauling trash, mulch, sod, sofas, tables etc..... No longer to I have to rent or borrow a truck to complete a house project.

Plus I swear, the Tacomas are in such high demand with limited inventory it's worth more now than when I purchased it.... Out of all the research I've done they hold their resale value more than any other average consumer vehicle I have seen.

Clubs in sig..

Car 2003 Civic. Its been a good vehicle, and surprisingly good in the winter since I put some Hak's on it a few years back. Plus I don't give a crap if I see a rock chip etc which is nice. I've been putting off an upgrade for 2 years now, as I hate car payments, and get more enjoyment out of using that money for golf stuff. Will probably look at a small SUV next. A few years back I almost picked up a low km 98 Supra, but a round of In Vitro took care of some of that money, and that was kinda the end of that. Probably a good thing...

Also, I turn 40 in a few weeks, so I'm looking forward to my midlife crisis, which I'm assuming includes a prescription for Cialis, and possibly a Corvette. Maybe I will get that Supra after all!!

Once things settle down I'll get something fun for the weekend. The wife actually got made when I sold the M3 a little while back...

My car is like a trusty 3w, it works and I'm afraid if I get something new I'll regret it. I have an Infiniti G35x with 140k on it. We also have a 2015 Lexus RX.

I have 18 months on my student loans and then the car situation is likely to change. Probably looking at either a Jaguar F-Pace or a Porsche Macan.

I do not think its the fact of paying 300 a club. I am thinking waiting a year or two and picking them up on BST when they are worth half that and still play the same. I am not money rich were I can buy a Ferrari and store it in the garage. If I purchased one, it would have to be my daily driver and when I am more worried about getting a ding on it versus enjoy the need for speed which you rarely get to open up on any stretch of high where I live, it make for not the best investment. Dont get me wrong, I love the look and would love to get one. I guess it is want to get one versus need to get one. Right now, I dont.

Primarily Titleist clubs as per signature.

2009 BMW 335 xi. - For me the best mix of handling, power, all weather safety and comfort. I tested Audi S4, MB 350 and Infiniti G37 and the BMW was the clear winner. Will be looking for something new in the next year or so and unsure which way to go. I believe the competition has upped there game in recent years...

I think BMW still edges out the win. I'm interested in seeing the new Alfa Romeo and seeing how it compares to the M3.

Clubs in sig.

I drive a 2014 Scion FR-S. Why I have no idea. Looked good when I bought it and I wanted a sportier car for a change. Now realize it was a horrible decision only because it really doesn't carry 3 people. We have to take the wife's Lexus IS350 F Sport when we go anywhere with my son.

Interesting! If only we could ho cars like we ho clubs. What do you hope to get in the future?

I don't know that the two are related always. Sometimes I guess there could be similarities in that a person who just wants "something to get from A to B" might also look for low cost functional clubs. But not always...or the opposite if someone has a very fancy bag, they might want a flashy car.

But you'll also find people who just care about one thing more then the other.

It's also funny that so many who don't own fancy cars feel like they have to justify it with comments. I guess we really still do judge people on their possessions

All the credit goes to the wifey. She's had a plan and kept us on track to pay off $160k of loans, in less than 6 years. (Edit: those were just mine. With her loans it is more like $230k in 7 years.) Although, our monthly loan payment has vastly exceeded our mortgage every month during that time.

I went for feel and performance. Similar traits I look for in vehicles...

I drive a 2004 Infiniti G35 coupe 6 speed 51k miles. I bought this car in 2014, it was one I've always wanted to own, found a garage kept 04 with only 38k miles on it. The old guy that had it only drove it on sunny weekends, and traded it in on a new Audi A6. It's not as much fun in the Chicago winters as you might think, but it's also not as bad on the roads either. I've only owned manual vehicles (minus first car 99 Civic hatchback). I do miss having my 08 Ranger Sport 4x4 5 speed, was lifted 3 inches on 33 inch tires and hauled a**. Been debating on trading up for an AWD version though.
