Cobra F6, F6+ drivers, fairways

Great now I have to wait to try these before I buy an ltd. By the time they come out the m1 will probably be down to 300 bucks and I'll just end up buying that.

Stock shafts will be red tie in the F6 and Black tie in the F6+. There will also be numerous no up-charge shafts available for the F6+[/quote]

List of shafts has not been finalized yet and isn't listed in the 2016 club catalog. Word is though that there will be between 15 and 20.

Just picked up the Cobra FlyZ+ a few weeks back after playing the Bio Cell + .....Now if any Cobra executives are in the house I would really love to demo this F6+ and compare all three, but my finances are getting low ( bought the Bio Cell, Cell+, Fly Z+ and 3 sets of Cobra irons in the last two seasons. Is there any frequent buyer program? Seems like TM starting to put out NEW lines before the honeymoon phase is even over from my last purchase, :taunt: :swoon: I'm going to have to start working on more flexibility so I can get my swing speed up.... Seems like all new drivers are being built for all those wrx'rs who have 125-140 Swing Speed. I'll honest I'm lucky when I break the 100mph driver ss. But my mid 90 ss works quite well with the last two + drivers Cobra has put out so there's no reason why I shouldn't at ;east demo the new + series fro Cobra. Just sucks that now you release the New KING mb's/CBs and Now these too ( I'm going to be flat broke) :pimp:

Another thing that is unnoticed about the F6 driver is that cobra has cut the stock shaft length down to 45.25 which will help the higher handicappers & people who buy off the shelf with accuracy, most OEM have stock shaft lengths of 45.75 or 46. Clearly cobra believe the driver can compete distance wise without having a longer shaft length.

anyone have a chance to compare the f6 and ltd fairways yet? just looking for stock setups and curious as to which launches higher loft for loft.

I've tried both with their stock offerings both stiff flex. I play x-stiff, but there wasn't any x-stiff to try. The weight in the F6 was in the back and the F6 launched higher and spun slightly more. I found the ltd to launch a little lower and spin less. I usually spin the ball too much, but the ltd was about 400-500 lower spin. I think with weight forward in the f6 it would have knocked spin down 200 on average. If I was to play the ltd with an x-stiff shaft I would probably loft up to 15.5. Both were hit at 14.5 degrees.

Both felt great and distance was pretty similar. The ltd was slightly longer due to less spin.

Awesome, thanks for the review. I've only had a chance to hit them into a net but the sim #'s were getting really squirrelly so I couldn't trust them. It seemed like I was hitting them about equal height, but again, bad sim and the f6 had the stock x while the Ltd had the stiff(I normally play stiff). I really liked the sound/feel of the ltd but didn't hate the f6 on that front either. Gonna try to demo them on a proper lm before I finally pull the trigger.

Keep the reviews coming. I ordered a f6+ pro driver to try. We will see....I got the gray one...really thought about the white or orange...but went gray...

I thought the pro was only black? If it comes in colors I'm going to have a tough time choosing...
