Restoration COMPLETE on my Mil-Spec!!

Really love the outcome of this. I cannot wait to get this one on the course. the work is amazing and love the finish.

 

-Complete restoration to black oxide

-new shaft plays at 34"

-black CS shaft ring (may fill it with white or lime paint)

-lime pistolero

-lime, white and black paint fill

-greatest hits head cover (which is awesome btw)

I would put some Puttertape on the sole though. The black ox isn't nearly as durable as the Pro Plat was. Jay Green sells puttertape and so does Ghost Tape.

yes they did. it was 75 days total (they received it Nov. 17th). A little longer than the 50 days they state (though that's an estimate) due to it not passing quality control a few weeks ago. I guess the something about the finish or paintfil didn't pass and they re-did it. Well worth the wait IMO. I had a backup Mil-Spec to game anyways.

That looks AWESOME! Usually the mil-spec sole can look a little busy, but with the dark paintfill it looks very classy.

Or you could buy a 300 foot roll for about double what the one piece of "putter tape" will cost you. It's 3M coextruded polymask.

removed the lime pistolero and switched to an XL/OS white matador (wanted black but still sold out). really love the feel on these. i feel comfortable addressing the ball. easy and light grip pressure.
