Thats a big range between 8-14, because I changed drastically in size in those years. I think when I was around 10 I hit the ball about 150 or so and by the time I was 14 probably about 215-230. It dosen't really matter though since between 8-12 I played the front tees and then moved slowly up till I could play from any tee box.

When i was 14 i hit the driver in the 250 range. The seven iron was around 150-155 with about a 120 pw. That was also about the 1st year the Great big bertha came out and that was my distance with that driver (one of the first titanium).

If you are worried that you don't hit it far enough, don't because you can grow until you graduate from college. I grew 11 inches in high school and added about 75 yards on my drives

My 10 year old son won a long drive contest (11 & U) at a tournament in western Illinois. His winning drive was 177. That's an above average drive for him on flat ground.

He's been measuring his drives over the last month (GPS unit). When he really plants one, it goes mid' 180's. His long (flat ground) is 193.

When i was a freshman i hit it around 230, im now a jr and hit it about 275-290, ive grown about 6 inches sence the end of last Spring break im now about 6 foot. I really dont think that any 14 year old can hit it any father than 250 unless you hit purberty when you where 6 or somethin lol

i was playing in a local tournament and was playing with a kid that was 13 and hit it about 290, it's really not that realistic, the kid was 5'9. i know a lot of people that tall who it it farther.

Its true guys that some 14 year olds can hit it that far, im 17 and can hit it about 280 and i have a friend who is a freshman in high school who hits his driver 300 yards and his scoring average during the highschool season was a 36.1 since in highschool you mostly play 9 holes. He just has amazing mechanics and only is about 5'10 150, and Im 6'1 175 so it is embarresing when he outdrives me but hey all you see on the score card is a number not how u put it in the hole
