It does not say a lot about the compression just that it is the lowest compression ball they have ever made. And my SS is 105 with driver and 85 with a 7 iron.

I top out around 105 at best with the driver so I "should" be in the same boat.......go to Florida for 2 rounds in about a week maybe I should pick up a dozen (downside is I'll be renting clubs)

I found these at joe and leighs today unfortunately I will not be able to play them until the snow melts here in Massachusetts. I will do a ball test against the gold and we'll see how it goes.

These look really cheap, like InTech balls, for some reason.

They've been owned by Acushnet since forever ago. This is not new news.

Didn't know pinnacle has even been coming out with any decent balls. Whenever I find a pinnacle I usually just throw it further into the woods in disappointment lol

TopFlite and, to a lesser extent, Wilson (Sponge Bob!!) have had the same problems with people's perceptions. It is a difficult and lengthy process to overcome a reputation.

When I was young, anything made in Japan was thought to be absolute junk not worth owning. Now much of those evolved products are high end.

China is undergoing the same transformation.

On the Pinnacle website, click on "Sweepstakes" at the top.

On second thought, don't do it. I don't need competition.

Finally got a box of the soft and will try out tomorrow!

I don't want to be "that" guy, but today is yesterday's tomorrow which means you played today and have yet to post a review. This type of delay is what gets people's WRX card revoked. Just sayin LOL!!

Played the soft yesterday!!!!!!!

Liked with the putter. Was able to stop with short irons and seemed as long as any ball. Was long of my long irons and did not roll of green when hit 180 yards with a 5 iron. I was not having a good day with driver so will have to wait for another day to decide on it, The ball feels soft with all clubs so if you don't like a soft feel it might not be the ball for you. Was able to stop while chipping as well as any!

Did you account for rollout or did you play it like a urethane ball?

I have a high ball flight so don't play for much roll out and urethane has to much backspin on short irons for me.

Thanks for the review. I'm looking forward to trying these, especially with this review. I also hit the ball high so spin isn't a top priority for me.

I played the soft in Palm Springs last week but was used to the elevation change from Denver but the ball felt to soft for me and I would rather play a harder ball. The ball felt good putting and chipping but felt too soft with long irons and driver. Back to playing golds and will try the rush later but was told that they are the same.just new wrapper!

Just got a dozen at Wally World, will try them tomorrow. I'm a high flight, high spin player that normally plays the Duo or a PG in the warmer weather. Will report back after the round but can say that it feels soft off the putter face. Rolled it inside already. Feels very similar to the W/S 50 Elite off the putter face. Got a box of the also to try.

I have played the Pinnacle Gold almost exclusively the last couple years. Does everything I need a golf ball to do at my skill level. Can find them easily and they are Made in the USA which is a bonus for me.

I picked up a dozen of the new Pinnacle Rush. I have them used them for 3 rounds very similar to the Pinn Gold. Maybe a tad softer. Putt and chips well. No issues with it and it will be my new ball.

Went to the Pinnacle website and do not see Pinn Gold listed, so it looks as if the Rush is my new ball.
