Military Discounts

I was shopping today and was told one of the club manufacturers provides a military discount, I had never heard of any manufacturer doing this and the one that was pointed out to me is pretty TIGHT on holding the line on the price of their clubs.

 

Did not know if we can name names without locking up the thread, but are there others out there that reciprocate as well?

I'm pretty sure TM does it, and obviously your talking about Ping or Titleist. I havent heard of either of them doing that but Ping is pretty vocal about their support for the military so it makes sense.

I know that Mizuno gives a pretty good discount as well. Your best bet would be to go to the pro shop of the course on base and order through them.

TM & Adidas offer 25% to retired and active duty service members. They use ID Me for their registration.

Ping and TM for sure. For TM, go through the Promotive website(you need a ".mil" email address. TM offers the employee discount of 25% which is good for a certain number of drivers, irons, balls, etc per year.

In my experience lots of pro shops also offer discounts. (on top of the OEMs) Get custom work done - discounted. New grips - discounted.

Ping is crazy about their discounting, but IIRC after they closed the account of a store on a military base for giving discounts to service members, they ended up starting a discount program directly though Ping.

I always order from TMAG website, 25% on all custom clubs and TMAG stuff balls, adidas shoes etc. I order from other store before and ask me for a proof of my service, ID or military email address. If you call Cobra and callaway customer service and provide them proof they email you a code to use.

TM is 20% off their site. PING will work with you if you're military. Just let them know.

PING without a doubt takes care of anybody who has served our country. most company's I believe will do the same but PING goes above and beyond. They have some kind of wounded warrior project as well where they take guys through extensive fittings that have physical needs that standard clubs can't fill. They've done extremely custom sets for men and women who have lost or damaged limbs.
