I always like the Geo Low 600 Wizard, Macgregor redid that was mentioned above that was a limited edition.

I like the BB2 the best because of the heavier weight and the 1/2 shaft offset. I have 3 in lefthanded that I rotate depending on the day. I have one in DASS, one in carbon, and one with the copper insert.

Ben Sayer JN1 forged blade, a line produced after Jack Nicklaus reputedly picked up one in a pro shop in Scotland and won with it. Classic 1930s type design and very soft face that rusted enough to hold the ball just a little longer. perfect.

Had one for years but it was like all of a sudden I woke up one day and forgot how to putt with a heel-shafted putter.

 

I still have not remembered. Really struggle with alignment when I have a heel-shafted putter in the bag. Too bad because I love the way these old style putters look.

I love anything heel shafts. Particularly 8802 style heads. I game em all. I actually have a few. From old school palmers, napas, bb2, mills... Sadly more than my wife wants to know. I'll try to post some pics soon. I get so much fun lookin at em.

I sold a cleveland designed by 1905 on eBay not long ago. A very, very cool putter. Felt great, but I read an article in Golf Digest (the one with Zach Johnson on the cover) and it said for a straight back straight thru stroke you need a center shafted putter. But 8802 styles have always appealed to me.

 

 

 

Oh yeah, and they were selling them at Golfsmith for $50.00. If I remember correctly, they were originally like $200.00.

I have owned several classic blade putters from a Wilson Designed by Arnold Palmer and original 8813. The DBAP was ground down a bit by the original owner thus a little light. I have owned several Cleveland blades and reproduction Wilson blades. I would have to say that my favorite blade I have owned was a Cameron American Classic VII. This putter has great feel and decent weight (350g - 355g would have been great). The biggest problem with the putter is my inability to maintain a good stroke with this type of putter (my problem, not the putter style).

My '64 8802 loaded ...and I mean loaded with lead tape top & bottom. Check out the homemade leather grip wrapped with bat tape :D.
