What's Your Favorite Mallet?

TM Rossa Suzuka.

 

Stopped being made in 2006, but still the best roller of a ball out there. One of only 2 putters that gave positive overspin in independent tests !!

 

Broke mine last week and managed to get a v good used one on ebay for £45.

 

 

I tried someone's Suzuka for a few putts about 3 years ago and it was terrific. I'll second that choice. If I remember correctly it was smaller, like a half-mallet or neo mallet.

 

I actually picked up one of these as a backup to my Piper but haven't used it yet. Too good to pass up at $65 still in the plastic.

WOULD YOU BELIEVE THIS!!! after writing how I love this putter, my grandson picked it up to play with it in the garden (he snuck it out of my bag) ending up using it as a play-hammer. The little rascal has put 2 indentations into the red soft face EXACTLY where the ball is struck. !!!!!!!!!!!! :rolleyes:

 

I am trying to see if Taylormade can put in a new insert and looking on EBay for a replacement. As t is out of production, it is not looking so good here in the UK

Another vote on Rife - though not the Barbados. I'm more partial to the Mr. Beasley. That said, that 400 mid mallet it looking pretty nice.

Just picked up the Nike Black Oz T130, (center shafted), at Sports Authority for $69.00. It has been there awhile but was still in good shape suprisingly. I will be trying it out tommorrow for my weekly nine hole league. Didn't Michelle Wie use this putter for awhile?

well, after much testing and trying different putters inc Rife, Scotty, Pings I have come up with my new putter-baby that will be as good as my Sukura (RIP) Same company but the Rossa Monza Corsa ! bigger than the Sukura but rolls beautifully and is so balanced it is hardly felt in the swing.

 

The final 2 putters after my considerable testings were the Rife barbados and the Monza but the Monza wins...but only just.

I vote for the Rife Barbados as well. I used it again the other day and it really is a great feeling putter. My other mallet is the Mizuno BC3, which is a much softer feeling putter. The Rife feels more solid, yet it still lets me get a good feel of the ball. The BC3 is more muted.

I'm gonna say the G2i Craz-E with the blue insert. Something about that putter, I made more 35 footers than I ever have. I bought what the sticker said was a 34" putter but when I got home I measured it, it was 35 inches. It always messed with me. Dont know why I didnt just have it cut down. Still kicking myself.
