GolfWRX is live from Trump Doral National (yes, that Trump) for the 2016 WGC-Cadillac Championship in Miami. The Cadillac Championship is the first World Golf Championship (WGC) of the year, and its elite field includes:

• The top-30 players from the 2015 PGA Tour FedExCup List, as well as the top-10 players from the 2016 FedExCup List as of Feb. 29, 2016.
  
• The top-20 players from the 2015 European Tour's Race to Dubai, as well as the top-10 players from the 2016 Race to Dubai as of Feb. 22, 2016.
  
• The top-2 players from the 2015 Japan Golf Tour Order of Merit.
  
• The top-2 players from the 2015 PGA Tour of Australasia Order of Merit.
  
• The top-2 players from the final 2015 Sunshine Tour Order of Merit.
  
• The top-2 players from the final 2015 Asian Tour Order of Merit.
  
• The top-50 players from the Official World Golf Ranking as of Feb. 22, 2016, as well as the top-50 players as of Feb. 29, 2016.
  

Last year, Dustin Johnson (9-under par) bested J.B. Holmes by a single shot at the difficult course known as "The Blue Monster," which stretches to more than 7500 yards. Finishing 3rd and T-4th, respectively, in 2015 were 2016 Northern Trust Open winner Bubba Watson, and last week's Honda Classic winner Adam Scott.

I love seeing what the euro players game, it seems as they take whatever works and put it in their bag. The big PGA tour players are always brand matching, and these guys really go for what works, 3 and 4 brand bags, very cool as most of us put into use as regular folk who just use what fits their game.

The fact that Wiesberger and Willett are Euro players with 100% brand loyal bags (Titliest & Callaway respectively) kind of throws your comment out the window!

The fact that I shot Matt Kuchar's bag and it's a very mixed bag (US player), Harris English's bag is a mixed set of clubs (US player) shows there is no rhyme or reason or nationality when it comes to playing a mixed bag.

Another WGC with a field that could be stronger. They need 20 more players there

 

I did a post on this last year. Named a bunch of no names so to speak .. who did all stink the joint out

 

Lots of PGA Tour guys in the 50-100 OWGR and not in the field ... that have been playing well this year

 

Too much weight is still given to the smaller tour finishes. Don't get me wrong, I love the smaller tours. But a top 10 at the HONDA needs to be worth more ....

Got it, I was thinking some drunk A-Hole said something to them or worse would be between them. They both are classy cool cats! - It's a hot topic in another thread. I'm so sick of the Word not allowedwagons screaming at the tourneys!
