I am having a TM adapter removed from a new 757 evo driver shaft so I can put a G30 tip on it and then putting the tm adapter on a speeder 869 fairway shaft to try out a new r15 fairway wood.

Pulling the Orichi X from my Strong mp650 3 wood. Great Shaft just Too low launch with the 13.5* head. Probably installing a OG PL red stiff.

 

I'm assuming that it was the Red Eye. If you'd like, I've got some Blue Eye shafts on my bench that you can have for shipping. PM me if you're interested. That's a NASTY head.

 

Edit: I found that the PL Red launched lower than the Red Eye, which is essentially a BlueBoard. Either way, good luck!

Started building my Miura 3i with a recoil 125 F5 prototype shaft last night, but I'm afraid I've gotta ream the head as the shaft just will not fit. I've prepped as much as I'm comfortable with and the hosel is clean as whistle and still no dice. Was hoping to use it for my opening season round tomorrow but no dice :(.

Just shafted up a Diamana D+ 70 stiff in a flex loft adapter to try in my Vapor Fly driver. I had an Aldila green 65 in it. The green had a left handed adapter in it, I never was convinced I had it in the right setting. Excited to see how it goes.

Repainted an old razr fit 8.5 head and threw in the double cog optifit adapter and whiteboard 70x5CT. Finally got done with the week long cure and took it out today. Rock solid. Almost took an idiot mark on a really bad swing. Paint held up. No chips or smudges.

Built up a set of irons for my wife to try. Mizuno MX23 5-PW heads and Callaway 75gm Lite graphite shafts (these were my kids shafts until he moved to steel). Ferrules from Grail Golf and Lamkin 3Gen grips. She'll hit them tomorrow. If she doesn't like them my other kid will use them.

I live in a small apartment in San Diego so my options for a club workshop in my place are limited. Have a storage closet on the patio, and the girlfriend let me turn it into a golf tinkerers paradise. I haven't put the rest of my goodies in there yet as I just finished building everything you see here when I had taken these photos. Super pumped to mess around with some new toys though.

Just put a Miyazaki into an Adams 5 wood for a mate.

Put an Aldila Rogue Silver into my G30 driver and added a 4g tip weight to my 7 wood.

I put a Fujikura 904HB shaft in my hybrid and WOW does it hit LOW. Even in a Regular flex I can't get it airborn. If anyone wants a killer deal on one pullout and one brand new 904 let me know :)

Haven't built it yet but will be tonight if the package is delivered. Ordered a set of Adams XTD forged off the BST. Will be taking my Nippon Modus3 130S shafts out of my '11 TM Forged MCs to put in them. Golf Pride Victory full cord grips. So glad they brought these grips back. I just hope it all works out and I don't have to pull the shafts to put back in my TMs.

I put 2006 Cobra F Speed 10.5 driver head onto a True Temper TX-90S. Currently @ 44", but may need to make it shorter. Will be hitting it this weekend.

Rebuilt a set of GigaGolf irons. Properly swingweighted, and regripped with some GP NDMC pulls. When the set was originally purchased from Giga, it was said to be standard, but when measuring the pieces (BBGM of the head and shaft length), I found them to be 1/4" short, which is no big deal to me, but since I never properly measured after buying, was interesting to see.

Only have a little bit of time before and after work each day so today was cleaning out hosels, shaft prepping and dry fitting to mark for cuts.

 

 

 

Not sure how you guys do it but I use the straight edge on the tape to mark the cut line I find it easier than a sharpie on a rounded surface.

Tomorrow- putting together a driving iron (T MB 2 iron) but still unsure of the shaft. A gptv grip will also be going on her, along with a swing weight of D3.
