Well I'm a Scotty guy! But my Scotty is being restored so I'm using a Cleveland tfi and they actually roll the ball well and consistent!

Was at the golf expo this weekend and pulled this off (brag alert):

 

 

So naturally I bought a different putter that was there, used, a white ice rossie! Realized anytime I can make that many good putting strokes in a row with a decent crowd watching I should probably buy that model of putter.... so went and bought an Odyssey white hot pro 2.0 #1, which is the putter model they had at the booth. Maybe it's the one?

Odyssey Works Versa #1W. Put a Superstroke mid slim 2.0 on it.

 

Traded in a Wilson FG Tour TC wedge ta Golfsmith for $60 (50% trade bonus) and used a $25 gift card won from Dial Rewards. I putted with a Scotty squareback in the DR and fell in love, and this seems to be a very similar shape. I just don't have Scotty money :)

I'll need some help here determining who to send this to for re-furbishing, re-finishing. Someone ground the milling smooth on the face and seems like it was ground smooth in every other place on the putter as well. I don't mind too much the smooth everywhere else (wish someone hadn't messed around with it), but want the milling on the face, Suggestions?

BOS Golf can remill and refinish in a wide variety of options. I'm not sure you're going to find a one-stop shop with a better reputation as far as quality, pricing, and turnaround.

 

EDIT: You'll most likely want to add some weight given the prior work would have lightened the head by a few grams. Tungsten powder down the shaft or lead tape on the sole (my personal favorite) would suffice, however if you're doing a refinish I could see why you'd want to avoid the latter.

I have to second the BOS refurb ! Everything about them is excellent. The best oil can finish out there ! Plus, they put the oil can finish on it for Scotty when it was new. I have 8-10 of their oil cans and all are excellent. You will be well pleased with them.

Just picked this up from Chip at Black Lab Golf in Savannah ! Handmade by the man himself ! 363 grams, awesome oil can finish, set up at 69/3, 34-1/4 inches, 1/2 shaft offset and face balanced. Tiffany paint and tiffany leather stitchback grip . Face milling, paint, stamping, and finish are all exactly what I wanted. The topline and cavity frame the ball perfectly. The greens I play are pretty quick. With the 363 gram head being face balanced, no need for big long putting strokes. A lot more control with short SBST strokes. Chip named this handmade " The Pocket Rocket" ! Small in size, some beef behind it, and great to roll. Love everything about it !! Thank you Chip and Black Lab !!!
