Of the 20 or so putters that have a chance of seeing the golf course at least

once a year.....14 have Gripmaster tacky-roos .

The putters with 4:00 or more toe hang have the standard sized " tour " and the

putters with less than 4:00 toe hang have the midsized.

Have another 8 putters with Gripmaster Cabretta / Montana Cowhide / 2 with Sea Snake / 1 Ostrich / 1 Deer ...... My personal zoo.....

Garsen Edge pro beefed up with a few extra wraps of tape. Soft dense rubber feels good in my hands, I hate the feel of the new less dense corky feeling grips like the super strokes. Unique angled design sets my hands in such a way that my elbows are locked to my sides naturally. Putting improved dramatically after putting it in play.

I've been studying this a bunch lately. I think Scotty Cameron said it best when he said oversized grips "take the hands out" of the equation so they are great for SBST but not so great for arc stroke, i.e. "examine your grip choice. What we have found on Tour and in the Putter Studio, is that these bigger grips on certain putters do work better for certain players. For example, the larger grips help to take a lot of the hands and feel out of the stroke. The larger grips help the player to make a stroke that's more of a shoulder turn, robotic and square-to-square. But, these larger grips on more flowing putters (heel and toe-weighted blades) don't seem to be the best match. They're fighting one another. So, we do put larger diameter Matador grips on Futura X and GOLO putters, but keep our smaller Pistolini and Pistolero options on the Select line. Grip choice has always been a factor in your putter setup. But, I think these days it's becoming a larger topic in the overall conversation about choosing the right putter."

I like Super Stroke on high MOI for SBST, I don't dig OS grips on toe balanced blades though. I have a Ping Answer G5i here someone gripped with an OS Winn and you can feel them fighting each other, i.e. you almost want to bring some hip (no no!) into it to compensate. Ultimately I can still make great putts with it because it's a great club but I have to adapt to the feel rather than the club coming to me.

So grip type for the stroke is big, the brand is less so. Lambkin 3gen standard on my Daytona Rossa feels really nice. I have one of these http://slickstix.com...es-Golf-Academy that has a really great grip on it, again standard size, oval with flat front custom for SMT by Karakal, it's kind of a gel thing. Really really nice. I like the red grips Taylormade put on the Spider Blade too, similar feel, really tactile. Specs below. :) (BTW just a heads up, DO NOT get too vigorous when cleaning these, very easy to rupture the "skin")

Just wondering what make and model of grip people are using and why. I'm in a bit of dilemma and just want to see what others are using. I did have a Golf pride tour tradition but I'm gonna change it out. Don't know if I wanna go with another skinny grip or a 1.0 superstroke.

I just got 4 Lamkin 3 Gen paddle grips off ebay for a great price. I'm not real picky on my putter grips but wanted the 3 putters I use the most to all have the same grip. I'm really liking them so far!
