You think a jack model he uses at age 70 will gather enough intetest..

I day no way.

Of course , why would the collaboration of arguably the greatest golfer of all time and arguably the most revered iron maker in the industry create any interest whatsoever !

Mine will be here in a few days time. Gonna install the modus 125 into these. Can't wait!!!

Would love to hear your thoughts when you hit them.

Hit them for the first time in the course yesterday. All i can say is this combo is GREAT! Only complain i can think if is that the topline is bit too thick for my liking. Oh! n the modus 125 is heavy. Really really good shaft but heavy.....

The CB1008 is really forgiving for my swing n the feel is just sweet. soft yet dense. Highly recommend it!

Top line is thick? Wow really? Doesn't look anymore thicker than the CB 57.

Post some pics!!

Was comparing the top line to the baby blades that I played. Lol

Been playing this regularly for the past few weeks and I strongly stand by what I said. It's really really forgiving by miura's standard. Tried it against the tmb(which is the most forgiving set I have) and I dun think it's any less forgiving.

Removed the black paint on the matte grey area(the circle part) and loved it. Looks so clean!

Guys, u can order with less offset. Almost anything is customizable as long as u r willing to wait. But personally I didn't think the offset was that bad and I came from playing baby blades.

There's a lot to like about this design , they really do grow on you !

Even price is attractive, $900 for 5-P heads. You could pretty much do any shaft and grip combo and still be at $1,200. That's a far better value for choice options, quality, and tolerances than any OEM I know of.

totally reasonable and better quality if built correctly....I am not in market for irons but when I am pretty sure I am going this route...not these heads per se but buying heads, shafts, grips separate and building them myself....same price but get exactly what you want....

sheeeeeeeeeeeeeesh.,

I cant sell mine for 900.!

Thats the problem, I would love to goof around and build a set of Crazy MB's but I know darn well I won't be able to give them away when I get bored. Also TourSpec's Seven Shinagawa MB's in black boron but again it's a blood bath later. Conversely, if I hold out for a set of Ping i Blades they will hold value nicely over time. I realize golf clubs aren't assets but man you would hope one could salvage a decent buck for a quality set of sticks! BB

too true, I just had to get them bec the lines look so good , best new miuras id seen since the dad said adiose..

I just pay MBs, so ahhhhhh,, gawd.. anyway they wil be so sublime in summer on the thicker lusher grass so I think im going to just have to bit the bullet and shft em up. thinking a nice set of the NS 125s shud be the go.

nice heavy shaft, high launch head, great fele , super dispersion.

il play them prob just once this season then sell them for 1/10th next year !!!

owari !

Anyone else try these?

I really enjoyed my PP9003's as they were ultra forgiving and easy to hit. These are slightly smaller which is nice visually. Current sticks are Yururi Tataki blades which are great in the summer when my swing is on, but spring and fall golf has been tough. I feel like I could benefit from a more forgiving iron this time of year. The new PP's arent my thing - pretty hideous.

I am also curious....is this a set I could rotate with small blades or will

It look just to chunky? Also is toe more Squarish or rounded....Thx

I looked at them with the same thoughts in mind.

To me, the difference in offset between the two sets would be the biggest issue.

If you were to use them as 'driving irons' per se, and maybe stuck to a 2 and 3 iron ... You might be on to something.

I bought these - the last set - recently (soft black) with the clear understanding that the resale value would be zippo. This was actually part of why I bought them, to make me let go of this insane club hoing. Between these, a set of Buchi and a set of Macgregor Vfoils, surely I have something I can play! It's like that phase of marriage where you think 'ok she's not perfect, but I sure as hell don't want to go through that breakin period ever again.'
