Here are my wedges.....itons don't count since not jdm market, but for what it is worth, they are better than any jdm irons I have had, and are made in Japan.....so as far as I am concerned, my irons are the shizznit, jdm or not.

Mix of Ping and Bridgestone with a little TM. And an ancient Rossie. Oh and a Srixon ZR-UTI #3 (that might be getting the boot).

Ok, think I'm set for this year and looks like it will be another 100% JDM year, with the exception of my Sonartec MD hybrid (not pictured). Surprise addition of the year is the Maruman driver, which is a beast.

Big, do yourself a favor a try the Masda blades. I played them and my Baby Blades last year. Fantastic!

K, I remember you mentioning to me about being specific with shaft choice when selecting the Masda blades. Something about the hosels being much longer than normal. In theory, correct me if I'm wrong, would that make a stiff shaft play stiffer since the hosels are longer? Or would one need a stiff tip shaft to compensate more of the shaft being engulfed in extra hosel?

The insertion depth on the Masda is standard 1.25", so actually, the long hosels effectively soft-step the shafts as most of the mass is below the shaft tip.

Masda blades are always on my radar K.....just haven't had any fall in my lap. I also recently for better or worse got some mb001 and cb503 heads to make a combo set with.......seemed like a good idea at the time.

 

There are about a dozen jdm blades I would love to try.....just too expensive to try them all and compare. The zestiam fi2 or whatever is another one. There are literally over a dozen I bet are awesome.....i wish the american golfer market for this stuff wasn't so damn small, it would be nice to be able to try a bunch of weird stuff at one store.

Tried 4 different shafts but the one I like the best so far is a JDM UST Mamiya My Attas Generation II, 5S @ 46".

Tried 4 different shafts but the one I like the best so far is a JDM UST Mamiya My Attas Generation II, 5S @ 46".

ITS A BEAST, at address the best looking driver Ive ever seen, I play a Graphite Design MT 7S in it. Glad some folks are enjoying it as much as I am !

 

Does the GD MT 7 S play true to a Stiff flex? I screwed around with the AD DI 6S and for the life of me could not get along with that shaft. I had my club fitter check the frequency of the shaft and it came in in around 238-240 CPM which is weak near Sr Regular. I bought that shaft from TSG so I know it's genuine.

I have the mt 7s in my 913f 3 wood and I love it. It may play a touch soft, but it comes off like a canon compared to the diamana it had before. I love the thing. My driver is like 105 ballpark fwiw. Maybe 110 mode season form, but I never go at it while playing rounds I care about.

I bought mine from Chris at TSG.... Send him an email stating what price Tstar -Rauken and he will match their price. He takes PayPal.

 

My Irons took about 11 days from the day I paid TSG to be delivered to my house.

In the driver it plays pretty true to stiff , mainly because of the weight I think , I know the DI can be whippy which is why I didn't bother with it, love the MT series ! I want to try BB in it , but luanch may not be right

Yamaha also made guitars , amps and keyboards or at least they did in the 80s and 90s. Not sure about now. OP nice stuff.
