Nike Lunar Control 4 Recalled/discontinued at American Golf???

I was in American golf today and noticed they had no control 4's on display, I thought they would be really popular and assumed they'd sold out.

 

I asked the manager about them he said they'd been recalled, I asked what was the defect? He said no defects they just weren't selling due to the big swoosh on the front and Nike were recalling them then coming out with a different design later in the year.

 

I find this very hard to believe to be honest, you can still order id's from Nike and buy them from every golf store online, any truth to this?

Well I hope that means I can get a pair for like 50 bucks then!

The LC4s with the Swoosh on the toe are still in the Fall 2016 catalog. New colors dropping May 1 and July 1.

 

The is also a new shoe planned for release 5/1 called the Zoom Attack.

Although I will say that maybe he's thinking they will carry one of the other lines like the Attack or the Lunar Fire. Both are more "traditional" for a Nike shoe. Nike has done an awesome job designing shoes and apparel for everyone this year.

I don't ever see the LC4 being recalled. The store may just be pulling them off shelves, but most people seem to love them once they buy them.
