Have you had a chance to hit the T-MB yet? I just picked up a set 5-GW and have only been able to hit them at the range so far. So far, I'm damned impressed with them though

Yes I was actually down in Myrtle beach for a week and got about 4 rounds in. Tmb is great much more forgiving compared to the 712u (had 2 previously) and it still felt great with it not being forged. Played a course we're the first 4 holes were 300-350 and used it off the tee and it was point and shoot straight for me. From the fw it's just as easy to hit personally and gets up fairly easily. I would imagine in the set form they would be as easy to hit as a set of ap2's. Transition from the 3 tmb to the 4i 714 ap2 is almost flawless. Def a great club.

Tried to score the new SC Newport select but as always a fail at GG because their employees are complete ignorant morons.

The only big box store I will go into anymore is the PGA SS. Even then I only do so on the notion that speaking to anyone working there is likely to be unhelpful. GG and GS are just terrible.

That is a very sweet set up. Interested to know why you went with the Fd over the F in the fairway? Is it easy to elevate the Fd off the deck? Cheers

The previous two wood cycles I also played the "F" model which is now the "Fd" model. Prefer the more compact looking head, just fits the eye better. Also I've tried to play the larger version previously too and just never got along with them. I find it easy to hit from the tee and off the deck very versatile.

Played my second round with it today. Still getting a feel for it but my putting felt more consistent today and the putter seemed to move back and forth more fluidly. Still need more rounds under my belt to say it better or not. I like the thicker grip though.
