Find a driving range that has real grass....

They look alright to me..... except I can just see them flying down the range on every shot.

 

My range puts the mats out during the winter and they don't have tee cutouts!!

Neat idea I guess, but I don't see how you would prevent hitting the tee ten yards in front of you on every swing. Looking at the pictures, it doesn't seem like there is much grip to keep the base embedded into the mat.

I particularly like the testimonials, which include praises from a P.E. teacher and a beginner. Perhaps we aren't the target market?

Can't you just achieve the same result of these with a plastic O ring used to seal a bottle of water?

Obviously you guys never heard of Lifesavers, those tasty hard candy mints available in supermarkets and convenience stores everywhere. Bring 'em to the range and don't bother retrieving them... they're bio-degradable. And for the poster who mentioned replicating a lie not found on the course, well you'd be surprised how often my ball lands on one of these during a skins game. If you play winter rules, get the Wintergreen mints so if you're caught cheating you can pretend you mistook the term; alternately, you can just eat the evidence.

I pulled the plastic security ring off a couple empty 2-liter bottles and tried it today on the range. It's a perfect height for practicing teed up iron shots! I'm going to start saving them from every bottle!

I recently purchased a bundle pack of Senna Golf Tees for my son and I. We are both beginner golfers and try t get as much time at the range as we can. The local ranges all have artificial mats and through some web searches I found these tees.

 

The site promotes the tees as helping you drive down on the ball and getting more face of the club on the ball (a problem I've had doing on mats). We really enjoyed these tees and found that they do allow you to have a more comfortable swing, as far as losing the tees we've now practiced multiple times and on average tend to use about a pack per bucket.

 

If you practice on artificial grass or are a beginning golfer looking to have a more enjoyable range experience I recommend these tees. I agree that loosing the tees may not be ideal but for $3.99 per pack it is definitely worth the try. Again not for everyone but in my experience definitely a practice product I keep in my bag.
