FINALLY!!!! After a 2 and half month backorder torture...my 695MB's are finally here! And the first thing I noticed about them was their looks. These are by far the best looking clubs I have ever seen. The reason they took so long is because of the TrueTemper Black Gold shafts I had them put in for me. I think the unique look of the blackgold shafts even make them look all the better. I'm sorry I don't have pictures but tomorrow I will have them available. Also I only had the chance to play a round of 9 and hit a few balls on the range because of the hail that cut my day short. Well so far I love these clubs. I normally have a very high ball flight and these give me a more boring trajectory which I love. I think the feel of these clubs are superb. For me they just feel perfect in my hands and the look so good at address, that I have no worries. So far there are no downsides and once I get to feel them a little more I'll give you some more details. ENJOY

Have had the 695 cb's with s300's for seven weeks with several rounds and practice sessions behind me. I converted from x tours because of ballooning issues in some of the shoter irons. I have found the x tours to be very easy to work both ways with a high degree of playability. I just came to the realization they didn't fit me quit as well as I had hoped for them to.

I have found the 695's to be very consistant in distance and shot dispersion compared agianst the x tours and Mizuno mp32's and 60's. The forgiveness is also very surprising, much better than I would have guessed or belived without spending some time hitting them. I would say they are more rewarding on a poorly struck ball than the other clubs I have hit. Very suprising!

I need to say that the feel of the 695 irons is very different from other forged clubs I have hit. Not as buttery - but just as communicative as the others - just in a different way.

In conclusion, I think the 695 cb's are great. They are the best irons for my game I could find.

Ok, for some odd reason, I bought the 695cb's on a whim from one of the great sponsors after demoing it locally. I am happy to say these are one of the best clubs *I* have owned. I have read many reviews and comparisons here and on other forums of which peeked my interest in this set. After many readings, stating that these are 'player irons' I would say they are, but with a good amount of forgiveness with a good amount of feedback. So with that said, I will try and compare my x20 tours to this set. Yes, I know they're in a diff category, but I would think some of y'all are looking to upgrade.

I preface that, my swing is more of a 3/4 backswing, with a SS 90-100, my ball striking has been more consistent.

x20 tours - PX flighted 6.0

Forgiveness - Excellent on mishits, keeping the ball on a decent flight.

Feedback - Good but it takes some getting use to as to how the ball was hit. I would say, almost a 'numb' feeling on pured shots.

Control - Shaping shots takes some getting use to, for me, I have to overcompensate to force a fade. A draw is a bit easier to hit given there is some offset.

Look - I've gotten use to the 'heavy' toplines as I had a set of x18ps last year and currently own the ta7 tours. Soling/aligning the face takes a little time as the leading edge is rounded

Ball flight - medium to boring flight

695cbs - TT DGS300

Forgiveness - Good on mishits, keeps the ball on your intended target line.

Feedback - Excellent, I can tell where I usually have missed the shot either towards the toe or heel.

Control - Excellent, a breeze in shaping shots. Came in handy around the trees. Draws, fades, knockdowns, balloons are easy to come by

Look - only one word is needed....secksay! The leading edge is more squared compared to the x20 tours so it was quick and easy to setup.

Ball flight - high, I believe this is cause of the shafts. I may keep these shafts, we'll see, I need more range and course time with them.

As suggested and mentioned, these are geared more towards the low handicapper, but I think the mid handicapper will benefit from these. I'm a mid-capper, and I havent had a problem hitting a straight ball, but I wanted/needed a set of irons in which I can shape my shots. When I everything setup for a fade and the ball goes straight with the x20's I get frustrated, it may be on the green, but it wasnt the shot I wanted. Funny is that, people say, 'nice shot.' I, say thanks, but I'm thinking, such a horrible shot.

So, I will stop this rambling, I hope this helps whomever is looking for a set of PLAYER irons.

BTW, I was about to exchange these for the x-forged after reading littlepingman's posts in the GEAK, but demoing the 695cbs and xforged, the 695cbs were the set to keep.

I recently picked up a set with DGS300s and I played with them for the first time today. I think they're awesome.

The compactness of the head combined with the strong lofts resulted in a significant distance gain on all of my irons (I used to play the 2005 TM RAC TP CB). I didn't have any trouble working the ball and I found these irons to be reasonably forgiving.

While I always find something wrong with every piece of equipment I buy, I hope to have these hang around for quite some time.

5/5

I just got a set of 695 CB's and couldn't be happier...well not much happier. They are incredibly forgiving, the strong lofts make me feel like more of an animal than I already am, and they feel pretty good. It is a lot different feel than my taylormade 2005 CB TP's, less buttery, a little more clicky on impact, but the forgiveness and workability are awesome.

I have the 695 mb's and they are the best feeling irons I have ever hit (when hit solid!). A lot of people think that blades are very hard to hit and sting when mis-hit but that ins't quite the case for these, althought still should be a solid ball striker if you want to benifit from these opossed to semi-cavities like my previous mp-60's. Overall, these get a 10/10.

My review is for my 695 Cb's with Project X 6.0 shafts.

Setup -Little offset and perfect head size. Not to small or too big. I had r7 TP's and they were just too big for my liking. 4 1/2 stars

Feel- Great Titleist feel, remind me of my older 690.CBs. 4 1/2 stars

Accuracy- It could be the Project X shafts but I found these more accurate than my older 690.cbs and at least as my older MP33's. 5 stars

Forgiveness- Not a game improvement club but I do like some forgiveness on mishits. These deliver. 4 1/2 stars

Workability- Not quite as much workablilty as a blade but a great compromise. Can work it either way with not too much trouble. 5 stars

Overall-5 Stars!!!

Bumping an old post with a question. A lot of people say the 695 CB's are more suited to a digger, the MB's to a digger. I've heard the CB's considered by some folks unforgiving because of their "strong bounces" and stronger lofts. The specs from Titleist have the CB's with slightly less bounce (by about 1 degree across the board). Wouldn't this go counter to what is often said, low bounce for pickers, higher bounce for diggers? Did anyone find the CB's less forgiving than the MB's? Just seeing if it's worth a change, a combo set, or neither. Thanks
