Agreed Mastros is the best, The bone in Filets are awesome as well as the regular filets. Prices really are not that much more than the chain places for the steaks, Its the drinks/wine that will kill ya. Bring a couple 5's for the Piano player to play some Sinatra and sit at the bar after dinner and enjoy

Mastros in North Scottsdale is on Pinnacle Peak Road and Pima Right by the Bank Of America, and if your buying let me know Ill walk right over :clapping:

Edit: One more to consider is Bourbon Steak at the Scottsdale Princess, very good food just a bit more expensive than Mastros, But if anyone in your group has an itch for a $160 6oz Japanese Wagyu NY Strip steak this is your place. IMO Mastros is still the best bet and has better atmosphere too.

Doesnt the Steak place right next to the Pro Shop at the Desert Ridge Marriot serve Greag Norman WAGYU Steak as well?.....I strongly think so....great place....small...right after playing 36 of two good solid golf courses and a place to stay too....

Maestros #1 still...you will not be able to beat it...but there are some awesome places down here

You know I am not sure I have never had dinner at the Marriot at Desert Ridge.

The good thing about Mastros is it lives up to its expectations everytime. I have been to all 3 of his restraunts here Mastros/Ocean Club/Cityhall, dozens of times and never once have I been dissapointed. The food is always prepared as ordered and the service has been impecable. Damn now my mouth is watering just thinking about it, I guess I know what I am doing for dinner tomorrow.

+3 on Mastros. Super wonderful staff and the best beef I've ever had. I'd go back in a second! Too bad I don't have a reason to head out there anymore!

Not a steakhouse, but make sure you hit up Alice Coopers sports bar/restraunt.

He's a diehard golfer, and its a really cool place to catch a quick bite.

I believe it was called Alice Cooperstown.

I just watched the Anthony Bourdain show on Travel Channel where he visited Cooper's place..funny you mention it! We are planning a visit.
