Ogio Ozone or Sun Mountain Four 5 ?

Help selecting new bag.
I am looking for a new bag. I always carry. I only use a cart if I am forced to so cart friendliness is not a selection point. I shortlisted the Ogio Ozone and the SM Four 5. I was if you guys could give me a few tips / advices to make my final choice. BTW, the Ping Hoofer is not an option; two of my buddies who own Hoofers are always struggling with legs that wont extend or dividers that wont stay in place. Please help me finalize my choice. I am also wondering whether I should get a 2008 closeout one or whether the 2009 really is worth the extra $$.

Thanks in advance for your input,

I can only comment on the 2009 Four5 having had one for about 6 weeks and used for similar number of rounds. Lots of previous bags including TM Monza and TMX, Nike SQ Tour and Ping Hoofer but no Ogio so far. My thoughts so far:

- the 14 dividers are GREAT for separating clubs, really easy to get in and out and keeps rattle to a minimum. The only other 14 divider I've used was the Nike SQ, nice bag but weighed a TON more (well maybe not a ton but a good few pounds  )

- The bag is genuinely very light and well balanced. Plenty of pockets of the right size in the right place. Straps are comfortable.

- The stand is fine so far, sometimes the legs won't deploy that well when in the rough, presumably as the bit at the bottom of the bag doesn't make the right contact with something firm.

- The only criticism I have is the umbrella holder as its just a bit of cord at the top and small notch for the pointy bit at the bottom, so it tends to fall off too easily. SM, please fit a proper sleeve next time

- I think looks-wise its very nice (black with red and white trim) and matches my TM Burner headcovers (cool)

I was looking at bags a couple weeks ago and had a chance to take a look at the four5. I thought it looked really good but felt a little flimsy to me. I assume that's because SM had to take as much weight out as the could to keep the bag light with a 14 way divider. The other thing that bugged me was the color of the dividers on the one I looked at (which was black) were white. To me, with grips and everything else rubbing up against the dividers white would get trashed in no time. I don't know why they didn't go with a darker color. I have no input on performance, other than those few thoughts after seeing one. Having a 14 way bag that is actually light enough to carry would be a nice thing though so the trade-offs might be worth it.

I have not used the Four 5. I recently got the Three 5 and have used an Ogio Edge in the past. The Three 5 is the best bag that I have ever used! Great overall design, very lightweight and plenty of room for all the goodies.

I have the four 5. Before that I had a Ogio Diva, with the Woode top. I prefer the sun mountain four 5. It is lightweight, but very tough. I have the orange and blue one because I am a Gator. My Burner headcovers do not look good with it, but I asked for Rockettour headcovers for Christmas!

Please excuse any typos-I am on my iphone at the grocery store.

Seeing how most advises are raving about the SM, I think I would go for that one. I am looking at either the black/titanium or the black/yellow one. Any pro or cons for those colors ? I fancy the yellow one as it would match my Taylormade headcovers and my yellow limited edition putter headcover ;-)

Btw, could anyone please post a picture of the bag's top ? All the ones I find on the Internet are sideway ones.

Do you want a pic with the clubs in it? I can do it easy.

Yes, with pleasure. I want to see how the putter fits in there and what it looks like loaded.

Here you go. I am sorry for the bad pic. It is with my phone, which takes better pics outside, but it is dark out now. I have a huge putter and a bunch of hybrids. I have the hybrids down one side and the rest of the woods on top. I really hope I get the Rockettour headcovers for Christmas because the TaylorMade headcovers are so bulky.

wow that bag looks good. I am also in the market for a new bag and may opt for a sm since i switch off between titleist and nike clubs.

I feel like I should be a sm rep! I love the this bag. I love how each club has its own spot. I like the cubs all being in order. The all black one also looks very good.
