Anybody playing in Nashville tomorrow??

I have to take a drive down to Nashville tomorrow (from Louisville) to help out a friend. I have taken off work to do this and have noticed that the weather will be nice tomorrow, and wanted to sneak some in golf if I could. It is hard to pass up 58 degrees and mostly sunny in December!

The people I know there don't play, and I don't mind playing by myself or joining up at a course, but I thought I might be able to round up a few guys off this site to play.

So if you thought about playing, already playing and have room for a single, or have any reccomendations of places to play...let me know.

I can't play tomorrow, but depending on where you're staying in the Nashville area I would suggest Springhouse (I think it may be Gaylord Springs now). It's the Opryland resort course and is the former home to the Champions Tour event in Nashville. Another good option is Hermitage in east Nashvile. If you're south of Nashville in the Franklin/Brentwood area there aren't really any good public options. But if at all possible (maybe you know someone), play Vanderbilt Legends Club.

Lebanon huh, what is your home course? I've played Pine Creek several times. I'm in Spring Hill/Thompsons Station.

Thanks for the info. I did a little research on here and I heard that Springhouse was a great track. I am planning on checking out their website to see if they have any deals going on. I only know a couple people down there, and they are for the most part ladies that could care less about golf...so I am not sure I will be able to get on Vanderbilt.

I play out of Five Oaks Golf & Country Club. But, I try to get out to as many different courses as I can. Play with a buddy down in Murfreesboro a lot (Old Fort and Indian Hills) as well as Hermitage, Opryland, Windtree, and the State courses.

Heck yeah, I never have met many people out here to play with (I've been out here for about 5 years). My in-laws live in Lebanon so we should try to play sometime. I played Old Fort back in high school at the state championship (1994 I think) but haven't played it since then. Played Indian Hills back in the summer. Ever play Kings Creek in Spring Hill?

Played King's Creek for the first and only time this past summer and really enjoyed it. Palmer's crew through some crazy holes into the mix out there, especially the par-4 with the green tucked around behind the lunar landscape of bunkers that front it.

Yeah, some of the holes out there are sort of gimmicky but overall it's a pretty good layout. We'll try to get together in the spring for sure!
