No frills MACHINE 303SS M1A adjuster (pics)

I just wanted to take some close up pics to show off the super sweet lines on this putter....It's obvious that Dave thought long and hard about the design. This thing is absolutely beautiful in every way....I recieved this putter with a black paintfilled sightline, that I felt wasn't needed. I removed it, basically the line was milled wide enough and deep enough that lining up putts will be no problem. The reverse arch grip just feels natural and although I have yet to take it to the course, it's been nothing but money in the living room.....The milling on the face is not only kool but the grooves put a nice roll on the ball....All in all I'm nothing but satisfied with this putter and I want to thank Dave and Chris for making this happen...Two great guys who have a passion for fine putters and really know the meaning of customer service....

Outstanding putter. I love the milling on the Machine putters. I have a carbon, but I would love a stainless to go with it. Enjoy her, she really is beautiful.

Ahh, you already had one on the way! Congrats on a beautiful putter. I need to take photography lessons, your pics are better than mine. The more putts I roll wit my M2A, the more I love it. I think the face milling sets it off.

I know the comment wasn't directed towards me, but wanted to make a comment based on it. I'm not a Cameron buff by any means. I got my Pro Platinum when they were current and have gamed it sense. It's one part of the bag I've never ho'd. However, I am currently looking at getting a custom putter. A Byron 007 is on my wishlist right now. I love Machine putters, and drool at virtually every pic I've seen. However, I hate the squarer look of the blade putters (Newport 2 look for example). I prefer the rounded edged look, but Machine doesn't offer that. So, keep the designs coming, maybe one day there will be a putter that appeals to me! :)

I just picked up a Gauge Design GAA3 SN - milled from a single billet of 303 stainless steel. Found it sitting there (absolutely 99/100 mint condition) looking lonely at the GolfMart in San Marcos - even got two headcovers with it (white Whitlam and black old school Gauge Design). Added a Cameron full cord red grip and shazam ... beautiful.

 

Only problem is when I take my natural putting stance, the putter is toe low (about 3 degrees flat I think). I just couldn't pass it up, so I bought the putter anyway and called Whitlam (makers of the Gauge Design and Whitlam putters and other things) since they are right here near my work and asked them if they would mind bending it to my specs. They told me to come on over tomorrow and they'd get 'er done.

 

I can't wait to get this thing dialed in. I'll post pics once I've got it set up just perfect.

 

I'm hoping they can stamp my initials along the milled trailing edge.

Today I got my GAA3 fitted to my specs and they guys at Gauge Design were terrific. Stopped in, no wait, no charge (I bought a used putter from 2002 or so and they didn't charge me)!

 

Now the putter feels so much better, sitting exactly right for my stance and swing. First they set the lie to 79*. Then, they set the loft to 3.5* ... bingo, perfect!

 

That's what I call customer service. Nothing against Scotty, but try taking a used Cameron into his fitting shop, have him evaluate your swing, measure your specs and then tweak your putter to your exact specs for free ... ain't gonna happen.

I have that exact putter but with a fatback flange and love it; great flat stick. Fit and finish are spot on for sure; screams quality. Now I'm looking forward to my LONNNNNNNNG awaited custom ART with the very first bent neck. I had this guy custom done from top to botton literally, I asked Dave and Chris to post pics for everyones enjoyment as well...BB
