I hate being a lefty.

 

Does Nike drop a limited release when Tiger makes his first start. And I wonder what shaft since he's now playing the Matrix TP7HDE.

By the time he comes back, he'll be using an regular True Temper shaft. All you Kool-Aid drinkers need to calm down, he's washed up so no need to buy a club with his initials on it.

 

I sense a lot of envy here. That and a misunderstadning of what this is. It's not like they're just stamping his initials on the club and saying it's different. IT IS DIFFERENT. Smaller club head and no adjustability.

No envy here, never owned anything from Nike and no plans to join the Kool-Aid gang. Tiger is a real stand up kinda guy to drool over. :cheesy: :russian_roulette:

Because they are limited edition models based on what the players actually use. What's not to get? They aren't posting it on everything. Literally only 2 clubs.

Dont wanna start a whole conversation on this, but imagine if they made a TW Method. They can do a RORS one, in fact 2, and Tiger's been one of the best putters ever.

I remember you saying he was testing it and the results were pretty good. I can't see him going from a sight dot, and from a looks standpoint the blue is a lot different. It's possible though. Also saw he had been using/testing the new RZN Tour Platinum...who knows where that'll go?

I don't see him moving from a sight dot. Man I can't wait to see him back. Wonder if he is super close to coming back because of this driver being approved?

I agree, very little chance he strays from the sight dot. He will most likely come back with a B1-01 in the bag. Made however he wants it.

they have a deal with MRC pretty certain we won't see a change soon

 

 

I know and this is what is confusing to me. Nike knows shaft companies and OEM's can be in open relationships right? Kind of a shame that I can get MRC, Aldila and other shafts at no upcharge but the swoosh keeps pushing white, blue and red like they are the only ones that are relevant.

Doubt they'll put the TP7HDe, it costs a fortune. Probably gonna be the Diamana S+ if I had a guess.

Out of curiosity, what shaft would you like to see in it?

 

Would love to see Aldila or Graphite Design options. Many of us have been dreaming of a glued driver for awhile. I passed on last years TW driver because of this. Don't want to invest the time in hunting down a shaft and the club. Let me order it with what I want in it.

 

I understand the idea is to get what Tiger likes, but even he has experimented the GD in the past.
