Eating them on the course!

What do you guys think about eating sunflower seeds on the course? Do you think it is alright or disrespectful? Give me explanations and reasons.

It's OK if you spit the shells into a cup, but no one does that.

 

I hate it. Finding shells (or cigarette butts) on the putting surface makes me wish I did better in school so I could afford a private club membership.

Nothing wrong with eating them on the course just don't spit the shells on the green :)

I can't stand seeing sunflower seed shells on the tee boxes. What really made we wonder a few round ago was a bunch of roasted peanut shells on the tee box and near the green. :) I wanted to hunt the guy down and tell him to get his butt to a baseball field.

I play at a semi private club and still see lots of cigarette butts beside bins! Imagine how bad these people must be at golf if they can't even get a butt in a bin.

I also see beer cans in the trees sometimes, i think kids get in after dark to drink.

The worst problem at my coourse is pitch marks on the green. For a semi private club it's ridiculous that members don't fix their pitch marks, I usually fix about 4 on every green

i eat them on the course...gives me something to do rather than throwing clubs...however, i make sure i keep the shells off the green...

I am a member at a private club and that still doesn't prevent this kinda stuff from happening. I don't see sunflower seeds, but occasionally I see a huge ash from a cigar almost always right in my line.

I don't eat them on the course although I see nothing wrong with it as long as you did not leave the hulls on the green. I just can't cuss and eat sunflower seeds at the same time. I am also not good enough yet to stop cussing. So I guess i will continue to eat my sunflower seeds when I am gone.

I want to ram the bag down the throat of people spitting them on the green and tee box! The only other thing that is worse, is the big league size chew spit on the green.

I absolutely hate picking up the saliva encrusted sunflower shells out of the line of my putt. Unfortunately many places I have played over the years has one sunflower seed chompin' then spit it out on the green moron. Maybe it is only one person, who because of my bad Karma, plays ahead of me where ever I go, spewing germ infested spit covered sunflower shells where my putting line is going to be.

i eat sunflower seeds on the course. I see nothing wrong with spitting the shells on the ground, but NEVER on the green or between the tee markers. Everywhere else is fair game though.

i eat them on the course also, i just always make sure not to spit them on the green or tee, thats just disgusting

As long as shells aren't on the tee box and on the green I think it's fine.
