Who do you model your swing after?

Not good then huh?/? Slow things down a bit - develop speed - then control. Why Not model after the best.

I do have control and I meant spin off my wedge not speed. I have been slow, my coach is modeling me after tiger bcause of the way I'm built and we are doing that slowly not full throttle. He makes me do half tempo, half swings then we do half tempo, full swings. That way I'm developing good control and a solid swing. I just have a hard time with the driver than my irons. I hate the hybrid because of the looks. I top it all the time. It's like getting old tom morris to hit a mallet he wouldnt hit it without making a fuss.I get the same amount of trajectory with my 3 iron then a hybrid and hit it solid by slowing down, letting the club do the work and letting th ball bore through the wind. I am working on hybrids though

I try to model most of my stuff after Brandt Snedeker. I really try to model my putting routine after Brandt's, his is awesome. 3 practice strokes while looking at the hole, and hit it. No messing around or time to think of all the ways you can miss the putt.

Adam Scott. I'm told our swings are very similar. he's a little better than I am though. lol

I've been trying to model my swing and hopefully my ballflight after Boo Weekley while keeping my clubface at the top a little more square. However I do believe Anthony Kim and Stuart Appleby have two of the most mechanically sound and simplest golf swings on TOur at the moment

When I', not fooling around trying to find the secret of golf (very unsecessful :russian_roulette: ), I have to have an identical backswing to Tiger (current) and then I would go hard to impact like the college Tiger, then finish like Hogan. All with a nice tempo to Ernie Els, or Sam Snead.

My natural, untutored, swing is half way between Couples and Daly. A bit more over and across than Freddie but not as much as Daly.

 

When I started shooting in the 70s with it I thought I should change to a more orthodox action and I completely screwed the pooch for the whole summer. My buddies finally forced me to revert to the original a couple of weeks ago and I'm back in mojoville. Feels very good.

I dont know who my swing resembles as I dont really model it after anybody in particular, but I try to mimic the tempo and laid-backness of freddie couples. I tend to miss left because of a classic overswing, but when I focus on a nice low and slow takeaway and a nice even paced follow through I play my best.
