I have my Eyes on this baffler, seems like a nice club. Need a club that gives me distance on fairways and turfs. How is the standard shaft for this club? Want a shaft that helps me get tha ball up, aldila rouge black or silver or any other suggestion?

Tell me about it. Had a driver, 4w, and 7w all with that shaft in strong flex. I miss those more and more every time I play. Nothing has been able to replicate the feel and launch.

My garage USED TO look like this. I've been better about clearing out old gear lately, but I still have a bit of work to do to thin the herd. I am now out of boxes, but I have still have clubs to sell. What a predicament! Time to head to the club pro shop and scavenge some more! :)

Finally got around to fibering up the RTX3s. Also got a tip from a wrxr to try white vinegar to remove the rust. Ill get better pics when its light out but for 545 am.. they look great..

Great looking wedges, unfortunately we will not get the raw finish here in Europe, at least not before next year. I wanted to order those in black, but all these comments about the offset got me worried, what is your opinion? Could you compare them to the RTX 2.0?

there is some offset for sure. Personally I don't think its as bad as most are making it out to be

 

as far as performance, Ill need some more time but the dispersion is noticeably better. Distance seems the same and it may spin more (Ill need to use game balls vice range ones for that). I mentioned it but I seem to be hitting the center of the face more often, same shaft, length and swing weight

Nice. The 965 short irons look the business. Can't believe I am going to say this, but I am at the point with my 545's (3,4) 745's (5-p) where I am not even considering other irons. They are a perfect match for my game, and the soft turf here in Michigan. I will probably swap out the UTX grips for something a little softer, but no other changes in sight.

 

Are the Baffler 16 and 588MT's going to be back in the bag for you next year?

Yes. They just work for me. Esp baffler.

 

 

ONLY reason Im trying 765/965, is I tend to hit a bit more on the toe, and I do prefer a more rounded look. The 45s look cleaner though

ZTX-II's are extremely nice clubs. I've been looking for a nice set for a while. So soft and just the right shape and size.
