I love that Circa 62 #3. I have a California Monterey that I love but there's just something classy about the Circa 62 models (I really love the 3 and 6). Been searching for ones that have some miles on them to send off to the custom shop.

Which Scotty lol Funny you mention that because the California Monterey is probably my next favorite style wise. And you mean like the circa I just bought with raw finish???

Well got a 915Hd 3 hybrid to compare to my current 913H and back to 12* driver for the time being.

End of year update.....

 

 

 

 

Little update as today is possibly the last time I will play or one of the last! Shot par today and really digging everything in my bag except my 5 wood. Plans for winter are to sell my 913F 19* and buy a 915hd 2 hybrid instead. Think that is about the only change I will make right now. Starting a little Scotty collection with 2 circa 62 #3 and a detour 2.5. Hopefully a buttonback is next! :D

Update in OP now with the 5 wood and hybrid and my NON-Titleist putter!! Always wanted one of them so have to give a try but going to be hard to take scotty out of bag! See OP for more info and pics!

 

Love the bag and trust me.. It isn't easy taking a Scotty out of the bag.. There is something about rolling a Scotty.

 

Love the V2 shafts.. My favorite all time working man's shaft!

It's an awesome feeling having that perfect shaft-head combo. Personally I love the rogue series, rogue black in 915f is the best i've owned, give it a shot if you upgrade to 915.

Man I love the rogue! The 915 didn't quite do it for me hoping the 917 will be a game changer! As far as my 915fd i love the diamana in the woods and hybrid don't know why!

Oh it's great I love everything about it! Deep/taller face, my shaft combo I hit on tighter par 4/5 off the tee or going for a green when I have to! Highly recommended!

Thanks man! So long story short, i used to play 690 MB right out of high school. Fell in love with the feel and feedback they give you. So i sold them for the 714 ap2's after hitting well at a fitting one day. So they came and they never quite fit into my game. You could hit an off center shot and it would feel normal, just no feedback or feel imo. Also the distance from them was poor as well for me. I hit the 690mbs farther then the ap2s which im not quite sure how that makes sense, not much farther but still! Hope that makes sense! I am just blades for life and probably 690s for life haha

Nice. I hear ya about being blades for life. I bought mp-33's when they first came out and then switched to 712 MB's right before the 714's came out. I'm more than likely blades for life as well

Yeah for sure man. The Mizuno blades and Titleist blades are so close its unreal! Try the 690s if you have never him them before! I am playing the best golf of my life right now with 10+ year old blades!

Good luck! They are hard to find in good condition! $200-$300 for a decent set or $400+ for mint. Well worth it imo since they feel better then 716 mb to me!

I just saw Adam Scotts WITB from the tourney this week and he's got 680's in the bag. They must be good if he's playing them, although, I'm sure his are newly forged ;)

Yup he's still playing the old school blades! I've never hit the 680s I think they are a little less forgiving but have more workability. I honestly don't know if his are 10+ years old or if they are freshly made. I'm kinda curious to know!

Got a couple new items i am testing out!

 

First up is a pair of last year's hyperflex BOA. So my Tour 360 boost ripped in the heel on labor day weekend so I am waiting on a warranty replacement but they are backordered so could be a few weeks! So the hyperflex will take their place! Feel good in the house will get on course/range in them tomorrow hopefully!

 

 

Second is a NON TITLEIST CLUB I know I know this is crazy! Hit a buddies Cobra LTD over labor day and it felt good and wasn't even right loft or shaft for me so I had to buy one to try! I blame you Shane!! @fujiman.757 :P
