My first T.P. Mills Graffitti/garage putter.

I had the putter wiped clean and dipped in a bath of black anodize. I gave it the weathered look by rubbing it with fine steel wool. I haven't decided to color fill the letters yet since I like the machine look of it. Enjoy the pics!

Wow...personally opinions will vary, but I'll have to agree with one of the previous posts...it looks like pimples ready to pop. The sight of it makes me shiver...probably due to bad childhood memories of acne.

LOL, thanks for the laughs. To each their own, I haven't decided the color scheme yet. For sure I'm going with blue for the Mizuno name, light gray for the sight lines.....but I'll have to think about the rest and Photoshop some ideas before hand.

You're right on one piece of that...there be more posts, but I think many people would still call it like they see it. There was a Cameron Circle "L" putter which had welding on the flange of the putter...NOT A BIG FAN of that one either...the overwhelming response was not positive even though it was a Cameron.

 

In the end, I'm glad the OP likes it...that's what's important...it still sends a cold shiver down my back when I see it. Just to be fair, my comments/opinion isn't just isolated to his efforts...I'm not a big fan of the other T.P. Mills with pimples either. Snow...I can live with it...not a huge fan...but the pimples...yikes!

My original idea was to get some fruitloops welded on but the welder I used could not create a fruitloop design with a mig welder. It was too difficult to see the work as he welded. So I had him put some spot welds and I drilled holes in them for paint fill. I did find out that in order to get the look I wanted, it would have to be done with a tig welder. But thanks for the comments and the good laughs. ;)

its one thing to freshen up a putter with a new finish but im really not a fan of stamping or welding anything on the putter that the maker did not put on himself. Sorry gotta give the thumbs down on this one. Then again im sure Quasimodo's mother still loved him too.

I've seen the Circa one, but never the other Fruit Loop one. Still not a big fan of the overall concept of welded pimples on the flange...doesn't really matter who the artist is...it's like using your keys to carve a lightning bolt on the side of your car. Just makes me cringe...
