LOL, thanks for the laughs. To each their own, I haven't decided the color scheme yet. For sure I'm going with blue for the Mizuno name, light gray for the sight lines.....but I'll have to think about the rest and Photoshop some ideas before hand.

Blessed be God for ever.......Mr. Bomb and Gouge.

Don't let them take you down a peg man, if this was something coming from Cameron there would be twice as many posts and nothing more than the words oooohhhhhh and aaaaahhhhhhhh.

You're right on one piece of that...there be more posts, but I think many people would still call it like they see it. There was a Cameron Circle "L" putter which had welding on the flange of the putter...NOT A BIG FAN of that one either...the overwhelming response was not positive even though it was a Cameron.

In the end, I'm glad the OP likes it...that's what's important...it still sends a cold shiver down my back when I see it. Just to be fair, my comments/opinion isn't just isolated to his efforts...I'm not a big fan of the other T.P. Mills with pimples either. Snow...I can live with it...not a huge fan...but the pimples...yikes!

My original idea was to get some fruitloops welded on but the welder I used could not create a fruitloop design with a mig welder. It was too difficult to see the work as he welded. So I had him put some spot welds and I drilled holes in them for paint fill. I did find out that in order to get the look I wanted, it would have to be done with a tig welder. But thanks for the comments and the good laughs. ;)

its one thing to freshen up a putter with a new finish but im really not a fan of stamping or welding anything on the putter that the maker did not put on himself. Sorry gotta give the thumbs down on this one. Then again im sure Quasimodo's mother still loved him too.

Cheers

Scott

Everyone wants to be like Scotty......although I'm not sure this is like anything Scotty has ever done.

To each his own I guess.

:jester:

Now that it's been done, I'm sure you'll see one from Scotty...and if it's a "tour" model, it'll sell like hotcakes.

I'm just kidding...though I just recently saw one of this designs that strangely resembles a Zebra putter.

I'm sure you were just kidding........Scotty did it a long time ago.

I see David Mills is now using the term "garage". Go figure.

I've seen the Circa one, but never the other Fruit Loop one. Still not a big fan of the overall concept of welded pimples on the flange...doesn't really matter who the artist is...it's like using your keys to carve a lightning bolt on the side of your car. Just makes me cringe...

Thanks for pointing out that it had been done long ago!
