i was wanting a portabl putting green or a putting green to put in my basement, anybody know where i can get one

Try that...I ordered one last week and love it...It takes a little work to get the carpet to lay right because they have been boxed up for a while..but once you get it it's perfect. You can adjust the slopes and breaks to whatever you want to practice.

4x12 strip of outdoor/indoor astroturf type stuff(52 cents a square foot at my local store)

 

Walmart:

 

9.99 for a putt return device

 

Use your imagination there.

 

The 2 together is what I use for accuracy and stright line practice....I'll put a pillow w/o the case under it in spots to simulate break points...

 

Total cost: 50 bucks or less.

Very easy to store, just roll it up and wrap up the cord for the putt/ball return and boom...in the closet.

Use it on the carpet in your living room to simulate a slow/thick green, or on the kitchen tile or in the garage to simulate a fast green scenerio.

I have a 4x10 adjustable surface (3 foot deck, about 7' putt, +-5" up, down, left to right, right to left, etc) -- from Puttgolf (which may or may not be in business ) About $200(?)

aellis13..you can only stand on the platform. the rest of the area is where the adjustable breaks come in.

So my Puttgolf putting green came in yesterday...Awesome!! you canNOT beat this deal: a steal at $99! Plus, the customer service is amazing. Unfortunately, one of the legs broke during shipping; called the company, the guy told me he would send one out on Monday. Even with a leg broken, i could still set it up and hit strait putts or breaks. Awesome!
