75% 9 iron or nuke pitching wedge.

Right in between clubs for me. My clubs are bent weak to more "traditional" lofts P is 47*, 9 is 43*.

So your full 9 is over 185? Great humble brag. Well done. Even got in the sticks are weak!

No Helmut. Full 9 is 156-158 at 90%. I say "full" at 90% because I try never to go 100% with the irons unless it's out of the rough or some unusual lie that requires it.

I'm just answering the question like everyone else.. It's really not meant to be a brag. Im sure there are plenty of guys on this site longer.

I just was watching Ryder cup where koepka was teeing off. Announcer said: Oh my he's got a 9 iron. He's 176 out. Read you post and was think. 75% 9 at 150 this guy is pro! Lol. You still might be pro but definitely Hit better than my 6-8i 150. My previous set I would hit 7-9 to carry 150.

I normally pull 8 for a 150 if I'm on the fairway.

I must be a lightweight 150 for me is a mizuno mp-30 6 iron with a rifle 5.5. Plus, I have to hit it perfectly to fly 145 and carry 150'ish. I should take distance lessons but I'm too old (53) to change and if it's shorter and straighter then that's quite alright.

Okay, I'll play too. My 150 club is my PW (level with no wind, of course). Pretty strong at 46 degrees. Adams XTD forged with stiff c-tapers. With my old irons it was the 9 iron. The c-tapers have done wonders for me. I hit a very high ball with my irons, but they kill some of the spin so I get a bit more carry than I did with DGs.

Ping s55 8i is 37; my 7i is 33. I generally hit an easy 7 150, but sometimes I'll mash my 8i that yardage.

10 years ago I hit my 8i 155, but these days my handicap 6 strokes better so it doesn't bug me too much!

Ping S56...Nippon regular shaft...8I = 150

Moving to regular shafts had led to more carry distance( and better dispersion).

Sometimes I could load the stiff shafts and the ball would fly 150....sometimes....140
