Anyone interested in organizing a group for a Monte Scheinblum clinic?

I'm trying to garner some interest to try to avoid flying away to one of his clinics. Basically, he needs 8 deposits to book a city. Right now, we have three people - me, Andrew M, and his brother. His 3-day clinics run roughly $450 plus site fees, which he said typically run about $50/day, so roughly $600. I don't think I've read a bad review of one of his clinics - most people here love him, and I've been hoping to take a lesson from him for a while now.

It's a bit of a messy thread since he combines his Q-school tourney and black friday stuff, but I think you can get most of the information you're looking for in the first couple pages.

Would depend on the days and how things go -- with our finicky CO weather I would guess that summer might not be a bad time -- gives wallets time to prepare and we'd be all right weather wise.

 

Would love to see Monte come over this way.

I'd be very interested. Depends on the timing though since my wife is due in May. I'll talk to my wife tonight and if Ok I'll put in my deposit.

 

I was actually thinking about driving to his Phoenix clinic is the timing worked out.

THREE DAY SCHOOL SCHEDULE

 

Saturday 9-4

Group discussion on everyone's individual swing in the morning.

Group discussion on short game in the afternoon.

Discussion of practice routines, general discussion on the swing, stories from the tour, etc.

 

Sunday 9-4

Individual discussion on the swing and one on one instruction on both swing and short game in the morning.

Flightscope analysis and me hitting and discussing shot making in the afternoon.

 

Monday

On course instruction on alignment, course strategy and shot making in both long game and short game.

 

TWO DAY SCHOOL SCHEDULE

 

Saturday 9-4

Same schedule as 3 day school with Flightscope analysis

 

Sunday 9-5

Morning session will be individual, one on one discussion

Afternoon session we will go play 18 holes

I have a friend who would probably be interested, but it would boil down to schedule and stuff for him. I'll ask him when I next see him, which should be tomorrow. Really hope we can get something set up!

Schedule is a big thing for everyone, and Monte's post seem to understand that. I know for me, if he schedules the clinic in July, it's likely that I won't be able to attend. I'm hoping for something earlier in the season though. First things first though - gotta get enough people to sign up!

I have the best wife in the world. My son is 4 1/2 and I have averaged a little over 100 rounds a year since he was born. Not sure if that will continue with her no longer being able to play man-to-man. Either way, I'm pretty stoked to have another son on the way.
