Wilson FG Tour V6 Irons: In-hand photos

I may be in the minority here, but Wilson Staff make the best looking irons. If only I had the game for these.....

Thought they looked like apex at first but then I noticed he weights. Can't wait to see lofts. If I can swap out that 8-p with some blades then oh Baby!

These will be replacing my V2s when they come out. My only complaint with the V2s were the 4-6 iron being a tad difficult to elevate, but these seem to address that.

 

For anyone wondering, the 4 iron loft is 24* and the PW loft is 47*...love the way they haven't followed like sheep and put strong lofts on these.

With the way they positioned tungsten lower, that definitely won't be a problem.

That is my issue as well, that and I don't like the badging either but the chrome is my main gripe. If I could get these in the finish of the F5 they would be perfect.

 

I game the V4 now and the chrome is the only thing I dislike... but they are the best irons I have ever had. Not sure if I will switch to the V6, I have no problem with the 5i, actually wish I had the regular 4i rather than the utility.

I recently took a swing with a V4 demo 7-iron at my local Golfsmith, and boy was I impressed with the impact feeling. I will definitely be giving these a look when I'm ready to move on from the J15 DPF.

No, don't need to think that way - I played FG the V2's as a 12-14 index, enjoyed them a great deal. If anything, they helped me get away from swinging for the fences and playing within myself. Once I started that, the index started tumbling down; even with limited time to play this season, I'm sitting at a 10.

 

They're on my short list for audition, they sure are beautiful.

For all of us "posers" (that means we hold our finish right?) you can mix the FG blades easily! ?
