Wispy wrists are no good, no matter what you are doing!

The counter balance isn't as pronounced as the Tank models. I thought it felt good without being an anvil.

I used a similar model once the other day. I like the feel of the counter balance grip but I do enjoy a heavier head.

20 gram weights would be a nice option.

I am pretty excited about the release. I really like mine (1 round, Tex) and it worked best for me during the fitting. I tried at least a dozen putters of all shapes and sizes and this was the best. FOR ME. A nice smooth roll

You are an expert putter ho, so you know your stuff.

I'm just glad you got a good putter fitting so you know your specs moving forward with this putter or whatever you pull out of the basement ;).

You've seen my best and worst this year. My putting got much better when I went back to my old Odyssey Tri Hot (after trying 4 or 5 others). What I thought I wanted, wasn't best for my stroke. The fitting was interesting and the results were pretty obvious. I'm sure I will still slump, and maybe try something else for a new look. Hopefully, I will be confident in this one to stick with it like you do with yours. However, I do like to tinker......

I know my friend I know. Nothing wrong with it as long as you are improving and not going backwards.

It will be a good season for both of us. Once I get some green hardware too ;)

The putter weights are changeable. I am not sure if the old weights from past models will fit. Mine has the standard weights with a counterbalanced Super Stroke paddle grip. The total weight of the putter is heavy and tended to smooth out my wrist flip in my stoke - for the one round I used it.

Saving all of these posts for during the season ;)

The main point here is one 1 round I used it. I'll give it some time.

Not what I read! Best putter ever and helps me stroke that ball instead of having wispy wrists.

Actually, nothing wispy is any good.

I think so, except the new putters and balls, but guessing that will soon follow. I am starting to think the new MB may be a little later release than the rest of this stuff, but just speculating.

Well, taking the headcover off to hit the ball should add something like 200 yards to your drive. But unfortunately, checking out the name will probably only give you an extra 5 yards.

Awesome! That should bring me to roughly 220yds of additional carry.

That type of gain is epic.

Looks like everything is a par 3 for mtljeff this year.

Imagine too the benefits I'll have once I take the new balls out of the unmarked sleeve before hitting them

Can you guys speak to ballspeed and accuracy on mishits compared to good shots? Isn't that what Epic technology is all about?

My miss is high on the toe, and it is one of the main reasons I went to the G30 and played it for so long. In the limited testing I've been able to do (fitting at the ECPC, 18 @ Torrey Pines, and two range sessions at home), the forgiveness has been comparable to the G30, and that is probably the biggest surprise for me with this driver.

I was hitting driver pretty well at the ECPC (1.49-1.51 average smash factor with all head & shaft combinations), so I don't have many Trackman numbers for gross mishits. But on the South Course, one "big-miss" stands out, a slightly toey pull-draw on #15 (392 yard Par 4). I've seen that same shot dive-bomb after 180 yards with the SLDR and a few other drivers. Again, it is one of the reasons I played the G30. With the EPIC, this miss still carried high and far, only left 100 yards to a middle pin, and still managed to make birdie. So far, it is surprisingly very forgiving!

Do any of you have a low miss? My miss is always Low on the face and center. I rarely miss towards the heel or toe but mostly struggle hitting it low. One of my downfalls of the LTD. Love it but feel my strike being low on the face punishes me. Not OB punishes me just sacraficing distance.

G or G30 LS punishing me would be 2 fairways over or OB.

Just curious if anybodys miss is low and which version was better suited for a low strike.

Low hits with the LTD should work out pretty well compared to most other drivers. Unfortunately, I have not hit the Epic yet, so I don't know how they perform on low hits.
