Hmm..I use the Pistol GT 1.0 on all my putters. This looks interesting but I sure hope they don't get rid of the existing version. If they do I might just buy up a ton of stock.

Were people asking for this? I'm sure they'll sell, but what was the demand prior to this release? Cord putter grips are simply a feel thing not a practicality thing. I went to Tour Velvet Cords this year so I may go with a cord Ping Man grip this year to match. I cord Super stroke just seems silly. I feel like reasonably priced cord club grips would sell way better.

looks like it - same design as the counter core and the plastic on top of the pistol gt's are larger... although, I hope they make these without counter core also.

All the cord is going to do is make the grips even dirtier with use than the standard white graphics.

 

I love the SuperStroke grips, but why can't they make a line for retail that has a darker base color? I hate paying $30+ for a grip that looks 2 years old after 4 rounds...

As dumb as this sounds, I'm really excited for these. I never loved the slick feel of the SS grips when it gets humid out.

I will be interested to feel these...but like others said I'm not sure it's necessary...I can't think of 1 time I ever heard anybody say they wish their putter grip had cord. Who knows, might be the best thing since sliced bread.

I'm interested in these for when it's nice and humid. That said I'll be a lot less interested in they are much heavier than the "standard" 3.0

Do the counter core grips sell well? I'm surprised they're going to continue making them when it seems like almost no pro's use them but instead opt for the non-counter core versions...

Bumping a really old thread...but did anyone ever actually try one of these? They are on the SuperStroke ebay store and I thought about picking one up but it's tough to pay $35 for a grip I've never held. I'd like a firmer feel...anyone have any feedback?

I have this grip. got it from the tour dept a while back. very firm, good solid shape. it has a wider top part than the normal superstrokers youll like it. I'm grabbing one at Riv this week !

Still a few styles available, I went with the 1.0...never been a fan of the countercore.

I have a few, they're slicker than I expected but I think once it gets a little worn in it's going to be great in humid conditions. I might take some sand paper to it to get a little more cord out.
