Yeah, sorry. I should have included that detail...

No biggie - I was just making sure people know.

I'm think I'm going to schedule a fitting in March some time. You?

I'm gonna visit both D'Lance and CC to see how they compare, then make a decision. D'Lance isn't open on Sunday's and we typically ski on Saturday, so I may have to make some schedule adjustments. I am really intrigued with CC though, so I may just pull the trigger anyway lol.

The one thing I'm hesitant about is my swing. I started taking lessons again late in the summer last year, and it's changed my swing (for the better), but I haven't completely grooved it yet. I'm pretty comfortable with my irons, but my driver is atrocious right now, which is kind of frustrating since that was arguably my best club in the bag.

Yes, I wouldn't feel comfortable with a fitting unless I've had a few range sessions under my belt. And the problem is I have no idea when I would have time for that.

And for those that don't want to look, the promo is $175 for the full bag fitting. I'm so, very tempted. I thought I was going to be off the road until the end of March, but that project got put on hiatus. I'm back to being a feather in the wind.

That sounds like a good price for a full bag. My problem is I don't know if I can last long enough in a full bag session without wearing out. My typical practice session usually isn't more than 1/2 hour and maybe a medium bucket. I've read a full fitting is a lot of swings.

Do you know the cost of a driver fitting?

One of the other members here just did a fitting in NJ and was able to break it up, so I don't think it would be out of the question to do so. Something I would talk about with them before signing up though.

Edit: Driver fittings are $150 normally, so $100 with the promo. Here's the pricing page: https://clubchampiongolf.com/pricing

I hear ya. I usually call it quits after a medium bucket.

Driver fitting alone is $150 ($100 with promo). It says it will take 90 minutes.

Damn, 90 minutes. I only have about a fifteen minute attention span!

Thanks for info guys. Would be hard for me to split it up since I'm from out of town. I'm there quite a bit but to,get two free blocks of time might be tough.

The more I think about it, the more I convince myself to do a full fitting. I've always wanted to do a SAM fitting, so this is kind of my excuse to pull the trigger lol. I'm gonna try to go check out the place this weekend to "convince" myself further :)

I'll be really interested to hear what you think. Maybe if it gets a positive review I'll try and schedule the Thursday before the Denver golf expo.

I'm with you. I'm probably going to setup sometime in March. I hope the weather will cooperate so I can at least play or hit the range a bit.

Speaking of which, who's going to the expo? I went the last couple of years but it's become less about equipment and more about vacations etc. I hadn't planned on going but if a big group of us wanted to meet up it would be great to put a face to a name.

I haven't been for a few years. But I like just seeing some of the stuff. And always liked trying to find something on the used table. But it seems like if you weren't first in the door in Friday there wasn't much left.

Same here. I'm hoping I can hit the range on Sunday to see how bad my swing is lol. Looking to be pretty nice weather.

Do you guys have snow on the ground? About 180 miles northeast of you we got hammered with a foot Tuesday night. It's going to be a while here.

Wow, most of the snow is gone down here. We didn't get much snow at all on Tuesday.

Still quite a bit in my front yard (live in Parker) and still some on my course (Black Bear).

Strange driving by yesterday. 13 & 15 basically run parallel to each other. 13 was fairly clear of snow with my 15% of the hole having snow on it. 15 was like 80% covered. Strange since they run parallel. I was hoping to play there on Monday but doesn't look good.

this is #18 yesterday.

Yeah, I doubt the courses down south will be playable this weekend. I still have snow in my yard, but I also don't get much sun. All of the snow is gone downtown though.

I think it has to do with the ground tilt, while both get lots of sun, #13 is tilted toward the sun, and #15 tilted away. We live off of #6 and there is still plenty of snow on both, and it is still really cold today, not much melting.

Sounds like we need to head north if we want to play.

Ew. I hate driving north of DTC.

Just to rub it in a little, the Loveland area is completely melted. :D

Heck, even here in Greeley we are opening the links course on Saturday I think, and we are usually the last place to melt. I was thinking about a fitting with CC too, but I am just awful at hitting indoors/into nets so it'd probably be counterintuitive. Would be interested in hearing what anyone who goes thinks!
