New "Ouul" Carry Bag from Belding is one of my "Best in Show"

At the PGA Show I ran into our crazy equpment degenerate and Ho forever Ari aka FairwayFred. He was holding on to a few pamphlets and I asked him what is hot.

 

He saw these new "OUUL" bags from the old company Belding. They were awesome. Like a lighter modern Hoofer bag.

 

They have them in waterproof for $250 and non waterproof for $210.

***** UPDATE ONE YEAR LATER 6/2/2018: Bag didn't make it through a full season. Legs gave out and strap was less than the best design.

All of the above. It's about 2.5 lbs which is about as light as it gets. Great storage for such a light bag. The top and dividers are great no club tangle at all with 14 clubs. I like the style too and the fact that there are no logos on it.

I use a Ping Karsten stand bag right now. Think I need to upgrade to this. Sweet looking bag.

I agree, for a blank bag I much prefer Vessel. These bags are just a bit too "eh..." for me though I'm sure the quality is top notch.

I think the blue waterproof stand bag version is very tasteful. Not too crazy for me. And 3.7 pounds for a waterproof stand bag isn't too bad; probably a bit lighter than a comparable Sun Mountain H2NO Light.

wonder howthe straps are??? i carry a 2015 titleist sta-dry ultralite and havent carried anything with better straps....they are more beefy than most bags...super comfortable

Most "full featured" stand bags on the market are about 5 pounds. Callaway Aqua Dry, Ping Hoofers, etc. I've never noticed the additional pound. The quality more than makes up for it but you are right that if you are looking for a stripped down superlite, the Vessel bag is not it.

The straps are the downfall of this bag. They feel cheap, are too short, feature little padding, and are just plain uncomfortable. Otherwise the bag is very good. If you are a walker, stay away.
