How do the C&L feelwise. Im talking carbon not the stainless. Are they as good as camerons or other high end putters. Dont you guys just love my constant posting of putter comparison :tongue:

They feel just as good. They're made out of the same type of steel, so if there's any difference in feel putter to putter, it'll be more because of the shaft and grip than the head.

 

Great putters, by the way. I wish I still had mine.

I've had a C&L in my bag over a year now. Carbon steel, oil can finish with a sound slot. Made to my specs, well balanced, easy to line up and very soft. Why would I want anything else?

ok so let me get this straight softer than or as soft as circa series. NICE! but could anyone tell me a price estimate and how long it usually takes the putter to arrive

I think you are looking at $280 and a few weeks to get it. Great Putters. I rate them better than equally priced Camerons.

They are $289, and about 3-4 weeks. I got one ordered and chip told me today that its been stamped and out for finish. Should have it in about 3 weeks, a total of 4 weeks for mine?

I love mine and chip and lee are great to work with. I have many putters but I have been gaming the c&l the most.

C&L feels softer and less clicky than the studio selects....prob due to grip and shaft but overall a much better and much more fun product....GREAT putters

C&L = customization and feel at its finest! Chip Usher is as good as they come too!

Great guys to work with, and they make amazing putters, I love mine.

You are probably looking at a month or so start to finish, I guess it depends on how busy they are as well.

I just got mine in the mail from ebay the other day. Oil can, double stamp, UST Freq Filter, and white Iomic grip. FEELS GREAT. Way better than the Sabertooth I had last year. Went to the golf dome today and putted for a while with it and sank a ton of 15-20' putts. Well worth it to me so far. Can't wait to really game it.

I have sold all of my Camerons. I have just taken delivery of my third C&L. If you want a custom tour quality putter without spending $ 2000- $ 5000.00, then C&L is the way to go. They produce them in small numbers to control quality. They offer numerous finish options, any stampings you choose. I plan on buying many C&L's.

The reason C&L putters feel so good is that Chip uses the same carbon steel s Scotty used to use in his putters from the late nineties an early 2000s. Stainless steel had ruined putters and used because the mass market can't wipe a putter down properly.

Just a little food for thought t the original poster from my experience. I have owned and used alot of Scotty Camerons with the latest being a 2001 GSS Tour Cameron Circle T and the C&L is 2 or more strokes better per round for me as well as the fact that I am a sucker for Carbon Steel. I have only had one Cameron that might have held a candle to the C&L but I foolishly sold it and I seriously doubt I will ever see another like it as rumor had it only a few were made as a Tour experiment. In short Yes C&L putters are that good. Iheard somewhere that the C&L was modeled after the 009 which is one of the few Cammies I've never tried and now I have no urge to. I have nothing against Scotty putters I still like them a lot I just choose to play what works best for me and inspires confidence. People laugh when the Tiffany grip comes out of the bag but when the putts drop all laughter ends.
