What putter did you just buy ?

Picked up this TM Spider Limited yesterday. I thought about the tour pro version but the sightline helps me a good amount.

 

I've got a BB1 and a Rife Abaco in my rotation and loved the look and feel of the spider so I thought i'd pick it up. I've never gamed a super stroke and really like it.

2017 Cameron Newport 2.5 @ 33" with 20 gram weights. It's too bad they don't make the 1.5 head. I prefer the look of the heel section of the standard Newport head over the Newport 2.

I just recently sold one of those.. a 33" 355g version. I didn't know Studio B could do some magic on those? hmmm I still have two BC5's.... ideas ideas...

 

Should of held on to that 355 version Id of loved to of had one, but what's funny is my 34" 343 with the shaft pulled actually weighed in at 350.5G which was a nice surprise. Im not sure if they can refinish the face with the railroad track pattern which is fine cause its practically brand new, but the head is carbon steel so its being redone in black chrome and the yellow is gone for sure. Its going to be quite the piece when I get it back, just wish the turn around wasn't 6-8 weeks

Not much pizzazz here but recently acquired an Odyssey White Hot Pro 9. Haven't had much luck with heel shafted putters in the past but everything felt right with this one. Lighter grip and letting the putter release itself has had great results. Love it's simple look. Coming from a Sizemore SB-1.

Picked up a X7m. Local muni course I rarely play had them on sale for $299 and I have been eyeballing them the last couple of weeks. Not the prettiest coming from Anser blades but man it is easy to align and aim and puts a nice stroke on the ball. Was debating on ordering the 2017 x7 but loved this one and no need to pay more or wait for small changes

Basically I can't putt with heavy putters.

 

Been using a Sabertooth works for 9 months. The longest I've used one putter in sometime.

It is. I had seen some guys sending them back to ping and when I was looking at buying one I found one on the bay that had gone through the process. I don't think it ever saw a real green. It's a great putter. No dot, no sight line.

Don't have a picture of the exact one as it is currently at home over 5,000 miles away, but last week picked up an Odyssey Works Versa #9 to act as a slightly more forgiving counterpart to my Yonex 8802 copy.

 

Have only tried it on wet temporary greens so far, but definitely better for winter conditions than the Yonex. Got it for £70 as well, so if I don't get on with it on proper greens I should get most of that back on the bay.

As soft as it feels, I'm guessing carbon. The finish on it is incredible. It has a clear coat over the finish, so the maintenance should be less than your usual carbon putter if you take care of the clear coat.

Yeah. $450 for a made in the USA putter of this quality with a with a premium grip is a pretty good deal.
