Club, apparel, shoes, come on, a hint?

 

Won't re-evaluate my apparel game till I'm at least thirty so it's not apparel or shoes and I've fully switched my bag...still looking for an R Grind engage though. So that narrows it down

Just turned 56 Mula and re-evaluated my Nike apparel...still going strong with the swoosh in '17 :)

 

Amen to that. I'm turning 50 this year and have no plans on going away from Nike. They have styles for all ages.

Well guys I've been a life-long Nike fan, had a bag full of Nike clubs as recently as December and drawers full of clothes.

 

I'm done with Nike. This whole "Equality" campaign is a joke and absolutely hypocritical.

 

I'll go elsewhere going forward.

 

Everyone has a right to a Point of View.

 

The only thing we can do as consumers, if company (not just Nike) has a product, service that we find lacking or expresses a social/political position that doesn't align with ours is to "vote" with our pocketbook.

 

I do it all the time. I shop with vendors that I like, purchase products/service that provide a value that I perceive as good or better than others, and avoid those that do not meet my biased values. I understand the Nike campaign, at least they have a POV.

 

There are a lot of good choices available for us to choose from.

Agree. Age is just a number. I played with an old guy who had TW apparel top to bottom. I thought it was really cool. Looked good on him too.

Right now it's super easy to have a POV. Under Armour guy comes out with his POV, people lose it, then here comes Nike with the opposite POV. Looks like a money grab to me. Looks like well Mr Under Armour is a bad guy but we're nice. I just wish Nike would've stayed out of it. I have had other issues with Nike over the years that I chose to look the other way on but not anymore.

 

Like you said I'll be taking my dollars elsewhere. I have always had a bag full of Nike clubs but now I have two Pings and I got my eyes on Cleveland for wedges. Not to mention the Adidas Sport Boost 3's are fire............in my opinion.

Never tried the 13s. Really enjoyed the 14s, and I actually like them more than my current 15s. The 15s don't feel stable enough to me, and don't wrap around my foot as comfortably. Hoping I can get my hands on some 17s when they're out because they look promising to me so far.
