I think my bst as just vanished ?? What gives ? I've read the posted rules there thrice and don't see a violation. I listed prices for each pics for each . So many pics I ran out of usable space. And don't see a limit to how many items I can have. So ? Wth

We limit how much space members have to upload images. You'll likely need to delete old photos to create space.

Go to My Settings -> Manage Attachments -> Delete some old pictures.

If you join ClubWRX you can get additional space.

A couple of questions that I can't seem to find the answers to by reading the rules and posts on this forum. I thought I was fairly

savvy about web terms, but I guess I'm not.

First, what does "pinned" mean for posting in classifieds?

    Second, what is "Paypal gifting"?

"Pinned" means the ad is "pinned" to the top of the list, and won't move down to the second/third/etc page when others are added. Look at the first page of the BST (Buy/Sell/Trade) in the Classifieds and the top ones listed are pinned. (They show up with a push pin in the mobile app.)

Gifting is sending money via paypal by "Gift" or "to friends/family" That doesn't take a transaction fee out of the transfer. But more importantly, basically removes buyer protection since you cannot file a complaint for item not as described thru paypal. If you send it this way, you are hanging out in the breeze and setting yourself up for possible disappointment and not getting you money back.

    2. Users with less than 75 Official posts that are not ClubWRX Members may pay a fee of $5 per listing. Please PM Gxgolfer for payment details and to receive listing approval.

    GENERAL RULES

Members must have 75 Official posts to create a new listing in BST. Active posts are not the same as Official posts; for example, posts in BST or the 19th Hole do not count towards Official posts. Post runs (more than 10 posts per day) to reach 75 posts are monitored and will result in account suspension.

If you look underneath your username on the left side of the page you can see how many posts you have.

Can you post more than one ad at a time? I paid $5 for the first ad and posted successfully. I adhered to the 10 item limit, but would like to add another post as I have several more items to sell. Thanks!

    Brad,

You're allowed ONE active post. Once the items sell, and the post gets locked, you must wait 24 hours to start another for thread. This is without exception.

I'm no Mod, but i play one on another site!

Sorry, no unless the items were listed more than 30 days ago.

However, you can place the new items in the current ad then pin that ad. Don't forget all BST rules still apply.

Is there a rule about updating the thread title after an item has sold? Super annoying clicking on thread only to find the item you are after is the only one sold.

Not a fan of this at all but I guess I have to start posting so I can have my opinion heard. I don't see many positives other than reducing the work load of the mods which I do think is worth something.

Totally agree with you. Guess ill have to start posting random stuff

What the **** bud, guess ill just have to start commenting nonsense. Haven't been a member for that lone, 3 months, but I planned on selling some stuff an cannot now. I love reading the discussion on here but I don't chime in that much. I dont see why I cant post on classifieds though. I have only posted once but have made trades....

    Any reason for the change?
I was a club ho in recovery, had my account closed after many years and hundreds of transactions. Decide to dip my toes back in the pool. Posted up a great listing that sold really quick (with many items). Come back to post round 2 and reading these new rules. Bummer. Great community and full of lurkers. Its a shame I'm being forced to resort to the bay and upcharge to cover fees vs cutting people deals here.

Users are allowed only 1 account. Please email [email protected] your previous display name and email address.

The 75 post rule has been around for over 10 years. It is now being reinforced after a few months of change. The point rules is an additional requirement as we can no longer dictate which forum counts toward post counts.

If it had been I had it met and likely didn't even realize. Either way, when I signed back up it wasn't and I was allowed to post. I will contribute here and there, but I doubt I make it to 75 again. Real life takes priorities.
I get protecting the community. How else may this be accomplished? Do I have to pay for something?
    Also, what are "points"?

I'd hate to see me take a sabbatical from WRX again. I was just starting to get back into it.

If you previously met the requirements then the previous posts outline instructions. Also, again user are allowed one account. Email for correction.

The bst rules outline other options.
