Just picked up this dalehead shaped putter. A Scott Delameter US Tour Proto Phase 1.

 

I can't find much info on Scott Delameter Putters.

If anyone out there can shed any light let me know.

 

It's a nice looking and feeling putter. Milled face with an insert. Quite light. Black graphite shaft and rolls putts well.

just out of curiosity, do the dd201's come stock with that "softened" neck or did you request that? thanks!

It came stock, I didn't really make any special requests on the shape as I liked the stock shape. Kari is great to work with though and is pretty much open to any changes. It's stainless steel with black oxide finish. I have it about a year and the finish has held up great.

Not sure this counts, but the 2009 Slotline models probably didn't get enough love. They can be had brand new for around $45 on the bay. This was the SKM Ssi-692.

More of a *tink* with the sound slot. Not a harsh feel though. It's perfect. It feels and sounds exactly how it looks it would if that makes any sense.

 

Coppper plated stainless is possible. I think it just needs a nickel strike first. I've hit some stainless putters with sound slots and they don't feel/sound as good as carbon.

 

EDIT: Sorry I misread what you were asking. Personally, copper plating doesn't do much to the feel for me. Some people say it makes it feel a bit softer but I can't tell.

Here's my 3...Byron Dale "O" head with flow neck, copper plate, and bell tip fluted shaft. Slighter Portland, and recently acquired John Byron Dalehead 11 which I'd been chasing for many moons....
