Do you use your Scotty Cameron headcovers?

Recommended Posts

In hand and it looks great. I always liked this CS head cover. probably my favorite along with the current JJ. I should have sent my putter in when they were available. I like the white one too.

Probably the worst Cameron cover ever made. Huge, split flap design that doesn't lay in the bag with any clubs. I supposed if you have a long shaft putter it would be ok... I still have the cover, but have replaced it with a more manageable custom cover. (magnet closure so I can stick to the irons in my bag when I'm putting)

Heck yeah! I use my CT and all black JYD headcover in rotation. Like some others have said, they weren't made to be looked at. They protect the thing that's more valuable

current gamer rotation are the 2 cherry bombs and 2 jackpot johnny's. I'm still keeping the Shankenstien in the bag and the PP on the far right came with my Mil-Spec. I also just got the "greatest hits" limited edition CS headcover when i got my Mil-Spec back but that's not being gamed at the moment.

I have 22 Scotty Cameron putter covers and every single one of them has seen bag time since they were acquired. I take care of them and don't abuse them but to me they're worthless sitting on the rack in the basement.

I own fairway head covers and a putter cover. They are too pretty not to use and almost too pretty to use them as well; however, I bought them so I could have something unique to cover my clubs so they are absolutely being used. Earlier this year I made a change to the flatstick so now the putter cover is sitting nicely in a staff bag at home.

I don't game mine, but I also don't have any of the collectible ones. Just the stock headcovers. I use a headcover with my club's logo on it. Plus it had a magnetic closure :derisive:

Nope, never. If I buy the putter(I've won more Scotty's, including the two pictured, than I've bought), however #1, I don't get paid to sport an OEM's cover and #2, I couldn't stomach lookin down the line or on a tee and seeing a bunch of covers like mine, even if it's a different edition or club(driver, FM, etc). I think I've got 13-14 Scotty covers and all came on tge putters and I guess 3-4 were LE, including the one on my T, and I've gotta US Ryder Cup cover that's cool but it's in tge closet.

These were my two covers of choice, though I didn't get the monogrammed cover till i was out of the game by a great group of great guys at another site. It's a Best Grips cover, and like everything Zach does, Top Shelf!!

I have about 20 Cameron covers and some others, and use most of them. They get rotated on a weekly basis so none of them really sees more than 2-3 rounds in a season. Most of them are in the $120 range and only a few would be hard to replace.

My most valuable cover, oddly enough, is a Bettenardi. He made some special edition putters and covers for the Chicago Blackhawks when they won the first of their three Stanley Cups in 2010, and I was lucky enough to get one of the covers. THAT cover will never see the light of day and sits happily on my display rack.

I collected for about a year...it got out of hand quick. Now I only keep the headcovers that I will use...a few limited ones, CTs, etc etc. I like to rotate them. The ones I use also depend on the weather. I'll use more durable ones in rainy/wet conditions and save the suede and CTs for dry conditions.

Not exactly related to the original topic, but felt this was a good place to ask ...

Recently started gaming a 009. Came with a Seaside Sandy cover, but just using a generic SC Select cover. I cover my putter after every hole. Do any of you guys find that the velcro on the Scotty head covers scratch the putter finish especially around the neck? Never thought about this until now.

LOL are you kidding me use a head cover on this?

LOL again flame suit ready I absolutely refuse to game a putter I have to use a cover on. And yes it is rusty and dinged up but I found it this way and make plenty of putts with it. That is just me no problem it is ok if you folks have nice putters and covers just wanted to add a little truthful sarcasm and fun to the discussion :taunt:
