I've had this Cameron sitting around, but now that Scott is using a similar one, thought I'd show it off.

 

What do you guys think?

That's the Zebra Cameron.. lol.. that Adam Scott has been using. Should be worth a pretty penny, I would assume, since there is no retail version. But you probably already knew that.. lol.

I catch your drift, it is a "Ram Zebra", but I do assure you, it's a Cameron...and I'm pretty sure it's a mighty rare one at that.

Scotty remade the Zebra YEARS ago. He issued some production run made ones at the Collector show a couple years back. They were goldish with the black bottom.

 

I have a good friend (ex tour player) with one of the few handmade ones--silver top with black lines just like a zebra. Silver plate on bottom with some handstamping ("Scotty Cameron", "prototype", etc.), a crown, the dog, and a couple other things. I'll see if I can get a pic or two...

 

Is this the putter you were talking about in the other thread about Adam Scott?

Send it to the custom shop and get it refinished because if Scotty comes out with a reatail version the price will go down atleast 50%, I can imagine him making one of those limited edition model, like what he did with the button back.

yep...finally got my hands on it (I believe the player had two of them is why). I wouldn't unload it unless I was told it was okay to do so by the player--which could become a possibility in the near future. Funny thing is the player games the Ram version :russian_roulette:

Yeah, I know the one Adam is using is VERY similar to the one given out at the Cameron Show a couple years back..

 

I did some research a while back on the silver one and have found very little on it. I think it was Estes that had one and those initials could back that up.

I love the sole plate! I putted with a Zebra once and found all the lines on the crown too distracting to me. It is a nice looking putter anyway.

wasnt that called the "coupe" back in the day. Dude that owned GolfMonster used to have that exact putter in his display case and that was like 5 years ago

I don't agree with that. Regardless of a retail version or not, this guy has one of the first "handmades" of this putter and they hold their value very very well from everything else I have read.

I did confirm that the played did/does have another one of these...guessing that's why I got my hands on it finally
