Masters Banned List

I understand that if you're caught selling Masters tickets, then you're placed on a banned/do not sell to list for all future ticket sales. My question is, do they notify you if you're placed on that list, or do you just go year after year attempting to get them again, only to be denied each year without notice?

I think if you were getting tickets annually, you likely would get a letter informing you of the violation and the resulting action. Other than that, you likely would never know if you were on the shite list unless you know someone who could get that list. Then again, if you knew someone that could get that list, you likely shouldn't be in that predicament in the first place.

From what I understand it is usually not an issue unless the person you've sold tix to does something to get them kicked out.

They know to whom every ticket is issued to. If someone does something that gets them apprehended by ANGC they would know who they were and if they were the registered holder of the ticket. Not only does the idiot get into trouble but person that "owns" that ticket likely loses their tickets for ever.

I get that but I have been numerous times and have never seen anyone tossed out. Not saying it doesn't happen, but the odds I would think are slim.

Aren't they "badges" anyway? The important distinction being they are readily traceable. Also there are "ordinary" houses in the adjacent neighborhoods converted to gathering/drinking places where for the right amount of $ you can get what you want.

I think Augusta views annual badges differently than one-time tickets. We were fortunate enough to go a few years ago on annual badges given to us by a business colleague of my dad's. The guy that let us use the badges specifically told us not to sell the badges to anyone for fear of what someone may do inside the course with his family badges. If the tickets are one-time tickets I think it would be much harder to track where they originally came from versus the same numbered badges sent to the same family each year.

You get an official letter in the mail stating something like the tickets are void and your privileges are revoked. I know someone who had it happen to them this year ( and no not me) trying to sell online.

Don't think you can get into trouble selling the one-time lottery tickets unless the person you sell them to does something dumb enough to get ejected.
