Obviously it's great to watch him play so well this early in his career. I really like the competitiveness and fire he shows on the course and in his interviews post round. He did I think the best job of conveying "I'm so pissed off that I lost right now" with an actual respect for losing to DJ that I've seen in awhile. It also seemed so normal when asked who he would rather play in the final and he basically said "yeah, give me another shot at DJ" Refreshing to see his competitiveness not taken the wrong way. I was really expecting to come here today and see 5 pages already about his attitude. :busted_cop:

Excellent match IMO.

 

I enjoyed seeing him take increasingly aggressive lines, although in the end I think it might have hurt him more than it helped.

I like to see players play with passion. I don't like to see players blame and abuse their caddy every time they hit a bad shot. I thought Rahmbo crossed the line on Sunday, especially over the first 6 or 7 holes.

Yah, the whole thing seems kind of creepy/awkward. Like something my daughter's boyfriend would say to me when he feels like he has to make conversation.

 

I recognize all of the words (even the misuse of "they're") and they are in order enough to be a thought, but somehow it just falls short of that standard.

I like how seemed genuinely pissed off that he didn't beat Dustin Johnson, World No 1, 10 years his senior. Just a born competitor.

 

Can work on reigning the temper in a little bit but see also: Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, Rory McIlroy, most players under the age of 25. Even Bobby Jones was a complete hot head at Rahm's age.
