Fowler Putter at The Masters

Did anyone see Rickie's putter? Looks like a NP2 / Tri Sole with a R in the cavity. Anyone know what it is? I didn't see anything in the search yet. Just curious, thx!

Just got a close up look while he was knocking in birdie on 8 I believe. Couldn't tell what it was besides different.

 

Is this the first tournament using it? Seems an odd time to switch.

It's the same putter he has used for quite some time now. Apparently it was a Tiger back up head that he got while at the SC Putter Studio.

I thought I noticed a diff paint job the prev was all white paint. Still has circle T stamp on the face heel that I saw . Pics anyone?

Looks like the same putter as before and that the camera angle and shadows makes it look a little darker. Previous putter had the dancing "CAMERON" stamped in the cavity. Could just be he got the "R" painted a different color.

Hmm cobra releasing a a line of " Rickie" putters ? "R"

That's still the dancing Cameron logo, but the paint job makes the R stand out.

Could be. I'm on my phone so I can't do it here but open the picture attached in the thread and the picture linked. The R's look identical to me. I think the darkness is shadow and the paint fill has been changed.

Agreed. The White paint is gone and an orange R has emerged. Looks sharp. THe shadows do make it look darker.

Gotcha. Makes sense . I thought he would be literally nuts to swap putters for the masters. He's only used that thing longer than Spieth has had his.

What about the stamps being welded in to add a tiny amount of weight? Pure conjecture at this point.

agreed. It's pretty clear his name isn't stamped in the bumpers on this one unless they filled them in.
