The Halo is the first hybrid I was able to hit properly. I've owned the Rescue Mid, Burner, Heavenwood, and Adams, and none of these felt comfortable. I bought the Halo after finding an excellent deal online. Very impressive club. Beautiful at address without being huge and no grotesque offset. Confidence inspiring, and easy to hit. The face is carpenter steel and the ball comes off hot. The head is slightly heavier than I prefer, but it does help with feeling the club throughout the swing. The perfect hybrid. Currently I have Raptures only because I needed a different loft set up.

I love (!) these clubs. I am a mid handicapper and hit irons much better than fairway woods. I have added the 3i, 2i and 0i (14*) to my bag.

 

I am not at the level where I feel comfortable trying to work the longer clubs, but these just seem to go straight where you aim them.

 

I haven't tried them for chipping, but they are also great for punching out of tree trouble. I know this well :)

 

fyi... I have purchased all of mine on ebay for around $50.

I have the 22* with stock shaft. I'm looking to replace the shaft with something less whippy. Any suggestions?

Matrix Altus, Aldila NV 85/105, IROD Tour. Dynalite Gold SL or Nippon for steel.

The NV shafts were too light and wippy but great out of the rough.

Own 16, 19, 22, 25 degree. Yes I love my halos. I just tried Adams pro tour only model, 14,16, 20 degree. They are little more workable clubs, and distances are about the same. But i was not able to hit it straight as much as i did with HALO. Adams might be good for people who has skills. I put HALOs back in my bag. My 16 HALO has tour ad ut85 (x) shaft. I hit about 220yard. . Both 19 and 22has tour ad ys iron 105 (x) (i have this shaft in my irons. ) i put 3 iron shaft into 19and 4 iron shaft into 22. I did this because my ball flight was too high and lost some distance.now i hit 19 degree 205 and 22 degree 195 ( My 5 iron distance is 185) i love these so much and know i need to replace my 5 iron with hybrid in the future,so i purchased 25 degree just in case. try these they are great price now and personally they are better hybrid than most of hybrids out there. Only complaints is that hard to hit L&R, but i rather hit straight ball.

I have played these hybrids in the 16*, 19*, and 22* for years now. I bought them used and I also have the 14* and 25* but I almost never use these ones. I like them so much, that a few years ago I bought used backups of the 19* and 22* when I saw nice condition ones on eBay. A couple days ago I walked in to my local used sporting goods store and walked over to their golf section and saw three clubs with the halo head covers in a bag stuffed with other heavily used clubs. The head covers were dirty and nasty, like they had been on a garage or basement floor that got wet and dirty sometimes. Not a good look. I pulled the first one out of the bag, the flex was my flex, and took off the head cover and was shocked. The head still had its original plastic wrap on it and the original halo sticker on the face under the wrap! The club was brand new and had not even been taken out of the wrap. The grip was also still wrapped with the original plastic wrap over it. The other two were also brand new with their original wraps. The price was $70 per club. I bought them on the spot and now my very nice condition used ones are the backups! How often do you find brand new 13 year old clubs with all the plastic wraps still on? The wrap over the grips even kept the grips like new, soft and tacky. Unbelievable find. I'll be playing halo hybrids for many, many years to come as these are awesome hybrids with their highly forgiving curved soles from heal to toe and highly forgiving, softly radiused leading edge as well. These glide through the turf so smoothly. Get some, you will not be sorry.
