DJR's WITB New Pics 21 Apr 17. SLS-01 added.

Been contemplating doing a WITB for a while now, after 8 months at this I'm finally set. After making the move to the Single Length it has done wonders for my health and game. Playing a normal set of clubs put a lot of pressure on my lower back almost causing me to give the game up.

 

Driver: Taylormade M1 430 with a AD BB 7X plays around 43.75 ( SLDR 430 HZRDUS Yellow 65 now)

 

3 Wood: JetSpeed HL 17 plays at 15.5 with a Diamana Blue 83X plays 42

 

2 Irons: one Edel and one Wilson Mid cant get it out of my bag!!! Edel with a C-Taper lite X and the Wilson with a Ctaper Lite Xflex

 

4-GW Edel Cavity Backs with Ctaper S+ ( changed to C-Taper Lite Xflex)

 

G,S,L all Edel DGR with KBS HiRev 2.0 R115 ( KBS 610 R now)

 

Grips: JumboMax LRG on all wedges,irons and woods.

 

Putters: Edel ProTo E-1, 0 offset SS Flatso 2.0 34"

Edel "The Brick", 0 offset SS Flatso 2.0 34"

Moving to single length has been the best thing ever. Made a couple of switches to the bag. M2 woods now and the new tour series Jumbmax XL.

 

I have not noticed any distance loss or feel with the wedges around the greens. My short game has seen a big improvement with the 7 or 8 iron chips. Being so upright it's like a putter!

 

Shaping shots has taken the longest to get comfortable with. But I'm seeing an improvement. Once or twice a round I'll get double crossed.

 

My only complaint is finding a bag big enough for the grips and light enough to walk, bags heavy now.

Will hopefully be getting fit for Edel SL with Matt Jones in early 2017. Something about the concept just makes so much sense to me. Cobra is getting a few decent YouTube reviews on their SL sets but I think Edel will take it to another level.
